About RevolutionBA

Sales 13,190
On Etsy since 2014

Our shared vision is to supply you with items that make you feel uniquely. . . you.

Revolution. Some hear this word, and it brings to mind destructive images--mobs of angry faces, effigies strung up, fires burning in the streets, rocks smashing windows.

But revolutions are about more than simply tearing down the old; they're about building something new, striking out in a new direction, empowering the disempowered. They’re about leaving a safe and secure job with a pension and benefits in order to tackle something completely different--becoming self-employed and self-governed while building a new and independently-driven vision with like-minded individuals.

In 2013, Blazer Arts experienced its own revolution. The business first came to life in 2006. After three years of success on the art show circuit followed by three more on Etsy with the development of four separate shops: Blazer Arts, Blazer Studios, Happily Ever After, and Sprouts by Blazer Arts; a fifth shop was added to the Blazer Arts family: The Revolution.

Along with this new shop, there came new faces, new collaborators. In the fall of 2013, my brother-in-law walked away from a 15 year long career, working in a steel mill, to join our ranks. His skills with metalworking quickly translated from large scale steel to our small scale precious metals. He’s a natural. My mother-in-law, a retired kindergarten teacher, also joined us part time as our quality control and “packer and slapper.” (She came up with her own title.)

In the summer of 2014, after ten years of teaching college composition courses, I officially joined Blazer Arts, though I’ve been along for the ride from the start. While it gave me great pride to help students develop and craft their own voice in academic writing, given the ongoing growth and stability of our business, I could no longer stand on the sidelines. Now Blazer Arts is truly a family business. We have since added a sixth shop to the Blazer Arts Family: In My Life by Blazer Arts. It opened on April 28th, 2015--our 14th wedding anniversary.

Our shared vision is to supply you with items that make you feel uniquely. . . you.

It’s truly a family business. Randa is Deb's cousin, but they're practically sisters. They've been creating their own shops since they were little, and now Randa provides our clients with the level of service they’ve come to expect from Blazer Arts.

  • Tiffany Scardigno

The newest member of our team: Tiffany has proven to be a natural jeweler. She especially enjoys polishing rings to a mirror finish, and she's darn good at it too. In addition to her work at the bench she will also be processing our daily shipments.

⚡RUSH PRODUCTION AVAILABLE AND FREE OF CHARGE⚡
Delivery projections provided by Etsy are automated and don't take our willingness to move an order ahead in our production schedule into account. If you'd like your item quickly, please provide a specific date, and we will do our utmost to accommodate. Shipping upgrades are available during checkout.

Welcome to the Revolution by Blazer Arts. We are a family company with over 15 years of jewelry making experience. I am the founder of Blazer Arts, Deb Blazer. I have been working professionally as a jeweler since 1998.

This is my fifth Etsy shop and each storefront offers something unique from Blazer Arts. Happily Ever After is our wedding line. It can be found at www.debblazer.etsy.com and features many vintage inspired and classic designs. Blazer Arts (www.blazerarts.etsy.com) is my Art Nouveau/ Art Deco work. Here you will find flowing lines and organic forms inspired from nature's beauty. And Sprouts by BlazerArts (www.sproutsbyblazerarts.etsy.com) is my showcase for personalized hand stamped jewelry with the quality you expect from Blazer Arts. Last but not least, opened on our 14th wedding anniversary: In My Life by Blazer Arts (www.inmylifebyblazerarts.etsy.com). Here we invite you to begin your journey with us by purchasing a custom made engagement ring for the one you've chosen to spend your life with.

My jewelry is stamped with my maker's mark (BA) and a quality stamp (14K, .925) whenever possible.

***Please Note***
The majority of our items are made to order. If you should need your item by a specific date, please let us know in the note to seller box provided during checkout.

***Frequently Asked Questions***

--Do you use recycled materials and non-conflict stones?
Of course! We use recycled materials whenever possible. We even recycle our own gold. This is a time consuming process, but worth it! All of our materials are conflict free and purchased from a reputable source that is SCS Certified.

--How long until I receive my order?
We try to ship our items as quickly as possible; however, each and every ring is custom made to size. Our production time can range from a few days to four weeks depending upon the design you order. If you need your item by a certain date, please just let us know and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.

--Do you resize?
Yes. We understand how difficult it is to determine the fit of a band over the internet. Rings often fit differently depending on their dimensions. For example, a wide band may require up to a size larger than a thinner band in order to fit comfortably, and comfort fit bands can fit more loosely due to their beveled interiors. Because of these variables, we offer one free resize and only ask that you cover the shipping fees. Our clients may take advantage of this complimentary resizing anytime within one year of receiving their ring as we understand that some may purchase their band well in advance of wearing it daily. Pricing for any additional resizing will be determined on a case by case basis. Rest assured that we charge less for this service than most jewelry stores.

--Do you hallmark your rings with a quality mark and maker's mark?
Yes, we do when it won't damage the integrity of the ring. According to Federal Law, if you quality mark any piece of jewelry you must also add your maker's mark. But there is no requirement to add any mark at all. We do quality mark (.925, 14K, 18K, etc.) and add our maker's mark (BA) on most of our items. However some pieces are either too thin or are too intricately detailed on the outside to mark without harming the piece.

--Will there be a solder joint on my ring?
Yes. All of our rings are custom made to size. We do our best to disguise the joint and even go so far as to go back in with our saws and burs to re-cut any design. Please remember that this does not jeopardize the integrity of the ring. If you were to take your ring to a jewelry store to be sized, they would create solder joints in order to size it.

--Will my sterling silver ring tarnish?
It may. It all depends on how often you wear your ring. Silver tends to tarnish when sitting in the air for a prolonged time. Tarnish is actually oxidation, a reaction on the surface of the silver with the air around it. If you keep your silver pieces in a sealed plastic bag or wear them regularly (so the contact with your skin "polishes" off any oxidation) they should not tarnish as readily. If your silver does tarnish, you can pick up a bottle of Tarn-X at a local grocery store and that will do the trick.

We also use a new exclusive product, Sterlium Plus,™ for many of our rings. It has become the standard for tarnish resistant Silver. It out performs all other formulated anti-tarnish silver alloys such as Argentium Silver. Sterlium Plus™ is a sterling silver alloy that is tarnish resistant and maintains a bright white color. This product is made in the USA and we have been very pleased with it's performance.

--If I order an oxidized ring, will the black wear off?
Yes. It is a surface treatment and will wear, but it only adds to the character of your custom piece. We treat all of our flat black pieces with museum micro wax to help maintain the black finish. But any oxidized and brushed pieces are left natural.

⚡RUSH PRODUCTION AVAILABLE AND FREE OF CHARGE⚡

Every item in our shop is handmade upon its purchase. Our production time can range from a few days to four weeks. This time frame has more to do with keeping up with our volume of orders than the amount of time it takes to create an individual piece. We are a very small, family run company with only four bench jewelers.

We are happy to move an order ahead in our production schedule by request and for no additional charge. The estimated dates provided by Etsy and automated and do not take into account our willingness to do this. If you have a specific date by which you would like to receive your order, please let us know in the note to seller box provided during checkout, and we will do our utmost to accommodate. If we do not receive a request, we will ensure that your order is completed and prepared for shipment within the maximum time frame presented for each listing. USPS Express Mail delivers in 1 to 2 days after we have completed your order. We can also ship via UPS by request. Please contact us prior to your purchase and ask for a quote. We will need your full address.

Our standard form of shipment for orders with a value less than $400 USD is called Global Postal Shipping. This form of delivery is processed through a partnership between the United States Post Office, your local post office, a company named Asendia, and an assortment of other delivery partners. Under ideal circumstances, this form of delivery will take 2 to 3 weeks, but it can take longer. We are unable to predict whether your shipment will experience a delay.

You may upgrade your shipping during checkout to USPS Priority Mail International. This form of shipment will be delivered in partnership with your local post in approximately 6 to 10 business days. Delays may occur.

We can also offer UPS shipping by request. UPS rarely experiences delays. UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping will deliver much quicker–typically 1 to 2 weeks if not sooner, depending upon your location. If interested, please just let us know, and we can offer you a quote for this service. We will need to know your full address, and we would need to create a custom listing for your purchase. Our standard form of shipment to the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 for orders with a value of $400 USD or more is UPS Worldwide Expedited. This form of delivery will take approximately 1 week. UPS likes to have a phone number on record for international deliveries. They may need to contact you prior to delivery to collect a customs or import fee. Please share your phone number in the note to seller box provided during checkout.

Our standard form of shipment to all other countries for orders with a value of $400 USD or more is USPS Priority Mail International. This form of shipment will deliver in partnership with your local post in approximately 6 to 10 business days. Delays may occur. Please understand these are outside of our control.

All forms of international shipment will include a customs declaration.

Depending upon where you live and the value of your purchase, Etsy may collect some form of tax to remit directly to your local government during checkout, but these funds do not flow through our accounts, nor do we have any control over the rates imposed. You may still be required to remit an import fee prior to delivery. Please consult your local post for specific details, as every country handles their customs fees and procedures differently. It is against the law for us to pay these fees for you or to mark your order as a gift to avoid paying them.

If your parcel arrives in your country, and you do not remit the import fees etc, your local post will eventually return your order to us. This will void our delivery guarantee, and your refund will not be issued in the event that it is lost in the mail on its way back to us. Should you decide you no longer want your order, please discuss the matter with your local post to make more reliable plans for a return.

We completely understand that sometimes a ring doesn't fit the way you expect it to. This is often due to the thickness or width of the particular ring. Re-sizing is sometimes necessary. We are more than happy to oblige and only ask that you cover the shipping costs. Pricing for any additional resizing or resizing after a year has passed will be determined on a case by case basis. Rest assured that we charge less for this service than most jewelry stores.
