About

Making jewelry keeps me sane!

I started making jewelry for myself as a teenager and eventually gifted it to friends and family. Then finally I came to the realization that I wasn't going to stop and that people actually liked what I was creating, so I started selling it through small craft venues. I opened my etsy shop as my first online selling experience and it has been a good place to direct my customers and prospective customers to see what I have on hand at the moment. I've taken some classes on jewelry-making over the years and taught myself a lot of what I do by reading books and watching videos, always trying to learn something new. I have a pair of earrings that I made for my grandmother way, way back and when she passed I realized she had kept them in pristine condition in a little ceramic jar so now they are in my own jewelry box. One of the first things that I had done -- they are made of cardboard, painted, and glued on jewels! Seems like I am always getting a request to make something old into something new, it's one of my favorite things to do. The custom pieces are definitely what I enjoy the most, but I also like to sit down at my studio desk and just let the pieces speak to me. Keeps the world out for a bit. Hope you find something you like in my shop, or if not, message me and perhaps we can work together on creating it.

I've been making jewelry since I was a teenager! Love making custom pieces for my clients. I also enjoy taking a piece of vintage or broken jewelry and making it into something contemporary and wearable.
