All prints are made to order. Meaning, there's a 24 to 48 hour lag time during which I am making your print, before I can mail it to you.

All prints are done under my supervision and to my specifications by the best professional photo lab in my area. I do most of my work with film, partly due to it's somewhat less homogenized qualities, compared with digital. I use expired film whenever possible, I cross process slide film and try to create something timeless and unusual. Any slubs or "flaws" you see in the image on your screen, will be present in your print. I don't create "perfect" work, I create honest and heartfelt work.

That said, I print on some of the best archival paper (guaranteed for 100 years in sunlight, 200 years if kept inside) available and I make sure every print is free from printing error (streaks, color bleeds, etc..) and looks as absolutely beautiful as possible.

Additional policies and FAQs
Q: Do you manipulate your images with Photoshop or some other editing program to get your "effects"?

A: No. I use Photoshop to adjust levels, if needed. Mostly I try to achieve everything in the camera, using exposure, chemical processing, composition and luck.

Q: If I buy in volume, will I get a discount?

A: Define "volume". She short answer is "no" because my costs are the same, regardless. However, if you have a special need with a high volume (50 or more), contact me and we'll try to work something out. I'm not being specific because my own costs change as the world around me changes.
