From the humble beginnings of being a hobby, Ribbons and Rivets evolved to be a tackle-all-projects theatrical costume company that specializes in leather and custom work. Our mission is to bend leather- nay, all costuming materials- to our will!  We love the challenge of bringing your imagination to reality so if you've got an idea rolling around your mind, feel free to send us a message.

Welcome! Ribbons and Rivets is the place for bringing imagination to life. We are a predominantly custom costuming company out of Winston-Salem, NC, that specializes in leather work.

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something does not fit properly, let us know and we will alter or replace it for you! You are also welcome to return and exchange items if you pay the shipping.

That being said, we strive to provide accurate measurements for our stock pieces, so please read them and make sure an item will fit you before you purchase it. We can easily to adjustments before we send it to you.
For items from our shop, the full amount is due on purchase. We can take paypal, money orders, or checks (the check must clear before your item is sent out).

For custom orders, we require a 50% non-refundable materials deposit, with the remaining 50% + shipping paid on completion.
We ship through the USPS, to provide the lowest cost to you. If you would like to have your item shipped by FedEx, please let us know so we can adjust the shipping charges. Alternatively, if you would like to pick up your item from us at a convention, please contact us to see what cons we will be doing that we can meet up at.
