5 out of 5 starsExfoliates wonderfully, makes my skin feel smooth and supple, smells fantastic, and leaves my skin feeling nurtured. I've never used a soap that didn't dry out my skin, but this soap is so moisturizing. My skin feels very comfortable afterwards! Will be back for more of this stuff!

Mutable Soap Company offers handcrafted soap and salve with a focus on the shifting seasons.
Corinne makes cold-process soap and salve with nourishing oils and butters and garden-grown or responsibility foraged ingredients to celebrate the seasons. She runs this small soap company in Afton, Virginia, and is inspired by the cycles, alchemy, and shapeshifting of our lives and our world.
Mutable soaps are:
- gentle, cleansing, and moisture rich
- crafted with olive oil, coconut oil, shea and/or cocoa butter, castor oil, lye, and whole-plant extracts and infusions
- lightly scented with essential oils and colored with plant-based infusions, powders, or clays
- biodegradable and environmentally friendly
- always free of palm oil, fragrance oils, and artificial colorants or micas
Because soap is poured and cut by hand in small batches, colors and design vary from bar to bar. Each one is unique and may have minor imperfections. A standard bar weighs approximately 4.5 oz.
