rigels' Shop Announcement

Painting has been a part of my life since I can remember, everyone in my family paints, making my choice for a life path very simple.
In the beginning it became obvious that I had a surprising ability to represent the visible, tangible reality that we perceive around us. With the passing of time, I started a search that soon became a need to represent something more than what we can see with our eyes, and today my art is like a walk in worlds unknown, revealed to me as I go, improvised. I never know what it is going to be until it's done, and after that, the experience continues like an unfolding memory of a trip into a new intangible reality. These days, I am living in a world that constantly blends concrete reality with abstraction, visible with invisible outer with inner, I can experience the shifting of both realities and how abstraction actually gives raise to the material. This reflects in my paintings clearly as they range from pure abstraction, passing thru surrealism and arriving in the other end in realistic images, most of the pieces end up being a combination of both worlds, I suppose it could be called surreal, but I enjoy abstract and realistic just as much. it all depends on the path taken during the execution of the piece.

I paint almost every day, and I will be uploading new, unique and affordable pieces often, I throw all my inspiration on each piece, no matter how small or simple. I can't do any less. My goal is to share my art and the message of freedom contained in it. I do my best to make them as affordable as posible, not to sell more, but to make it available to the widest audience. Everyone needs to know that love, peace and happiness can't exist without freedom, and freedom can't exist without integrity. I paint for love first, whatever else just comes with it as an extra.
