As described. Thank you so much.
We Learn in Order to Serve!
From the small beginnings of an interest in the Sanskrit language which faded as other things took centre stage in life, on eventually coming into closer contact with the Tibetan language I realised that the two were intimately connected, and given that one of the things I might hope to achieve in this lifetime is to assist with the translation of the vast amount of literature which comes from Sanskrit but which is only preserved in the Tibetan language, one of the ways to best express the profundity and consciousness-expanding qualities of both languages was through Calligraphy. A chance (if such a thing exists) encounter with world-renowned Tibetan Calligrapher Tashi Mannox as tutor pushed this interest over the edge, and in the fullness of time, a purpose and direction ripened.
Today, development never rests, and as new implementations of (hopefully) ever-deepening relationships with both the languages and the materials to express them visually unfold, examples which pass various self-imposed tests will be offered in the sincere hope that they may assist the practice and being of as many people as possible.
All materials used here sourced from a responsible source as possible, and everything is done by hand; these are not computer prints, but the result of what is now years of study, reflection and practice.
I welcome comments, suggestions and commissions for more personal items; and any imperfections in the work (of which there undoubtedly countless numbers of) necessarily reflect those of myself, and no-one else.
Thank you for your attention and interest, from the bottom of my being-essence, such as it is or might be.
May all be happy!
