My hobby as a small business

I have a degree in medicine and worked as a physician for several years and later also many years as a manager in a public health organization.

As long as I can remember, I made my own clothes or customised clothes I bought. In later years, besides a busy day job as a manager/physician, I enjoyed to continue this.
Although I also followed courses on Art and Architecture (I still do), sewing always have been my favorite hobby.

A few years ago, I started to design and sew leather purses, clutches, and small bags as presents for friends and family.
I took several courses in leather working to improve my skills and decorated a small studio in my home.

I have a passion for designing the different. I am inspired by art, architecture and simplicity in design. I love to work with different kinds of leather and often combine contrasting colours to make my products more exciting and surprising. The leather bags and accessories I create are hand carved, unique or made in a very limited series.
I care deeply about quality, therefore all my products are made with attention to detail.

All products are made from handpicked samples of European leather and eco-tanned and eco-dyed whenever possible. Besides that I also use overproduced leather from the best European tanneries to avoid wastage.

My studio is smoke and pet free.

RETURNS AND REFUND
I take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of all my products, and my goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. I do my best to photograph or describe my products accurately. Feel free to ask me for extra details or pictures before you order.

If for some reason the product does not meet your expectations upon arrival, contact me within 14 days following delivery for return authorization and instructions.
Products must be sent back in unused and undamaged condition with the original packaging.
All returns must be made within 5 days following authorization.
The item is the responsibility of the buyer until I receive it.

I will refund your money, or exchange it for another item, once your package is received in good condition. If customer likes to exchange the item for another, please note that the customer has to pay for the extra shipping costs.

I pack my items very carefully. Standard shipping is not insured; there is no refund by damage or loss. I try to avoid this by providing suitable packaging and offeringTRACKING for your package. Please contact me if something like that has happened.

All products in my shop are ready for shipping and will be sent within 1-3 working days after payment is received.
All orders are hand packed by me with care and attention.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION:
I will send to the address of your ETSY ADDRESS.
If your address is not correct or incomplete, I am not responsible and cannot refund for your order due to this.

PO-BOXES / working address: I do not do standard shipping to a P.O.-BOX or working address
So, please contact me first, because in most cases I only send with tracking.

SMALL items are shipped in a padded envelope or flat box; priority, unregistered (NO TRACKING).
I offer upgrade with tracking when checking out.
LARGE / HEAVY weight products (e.g. large tote bags and handbags) will be sent as a registered package, incl tracking.

Typical shipping times:
EU Countries 3-5 business days : e.g. Germany, France, Belgium, United Kingdom
Non-EU and outside Europe: e.g USA , Canada, Australia: 9-12 business days ( please note: sometimes it takes about 3-6 weeks, due to customs security checks!)

MY PHOTOGRAPHS
I have done my best to photograph my work as accurately as possible. Please be aware that colors may appear differently on different monitors. And I do try to describe colors as accurately as possible in the descriptions.
Refer to the item descriptions for additional color information.

THE LEATHER
Please note that as leather is a natural material, occasionally there will be peculiarities - this is not a flaw, but adds to the character of each piece.
Some of these pieces may have tannery markings or similar on the reverse (suede side) such as stamping, cuts or labels. I will try to show this in the images where it affects the front 'smooth' side.

Frequently asked questions
Will my bag or clutch be sent with tracking?

Large bags will be shipped in a box with tracking.

Some small zipper pouches / bags will be shipped in a padded envelope or flat box and WITHOUT tracking.
It is possible to upgrade with tracking when checking out.

In the item description you can read how your bag will be shipped.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you still have questions.

Can I use my coupon code on all items it the shop?

Coupon codes can be used on almost all items, but there are some exceptions.
The coupon codes are NOT applicable on:
-Custom made items
-SALE items
-Special offers which already have reduces prices (e.g. free shipping offers, example items, etc)

If you are not sure coupon code is applicable to your order please contact me beforehand.

Can I return or exchange my item?

If you like to return or exchange your item, contact me within 14 days following delivery for return authorization and instructions.All returns must be made within 5 days following authorization

Can you gift wrap my item?

My policy is: buying on the internet is buying a present for yourself
So I gift wrap all my items for free. It depends on the size and shape of the item how I wrap it.
If you have a special request (such as a name tag or a small note) or you like to send the purchased item to the receiver directly, please contact me first. Because certain packaging can increase the shipping costs.

Can my parcel be sent to my working address (factory, University, Office, etc)?

That is possible, BUT in case of large companies, such as a factory, shop in a Shopping Center or University (also a Campus) due to higher risk of losing your parcel in between departments, I only ship WITH TRACKING.

You can upgrade your item with tracking when checking out.
If you forgot to upgrade, I will contact you.
