Creating and finding beautiful items

Carol Miller and Stacey Ferazzi are a mother daughter team from New England. Carol currently resides in northern New Hampshire (where they raised her children, Bryan and Stacey), while Stacey lives and operates Rita Mae's out of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Both women have a great passion for creating beautiful items, as well as searching for beautiful vintage finds.

Carol and Stacey were encouraged to open Rita Mae's by family members and friends who believed these women were creative and talented enough to open a shop of their art and finds. Thus, Rita Mae's was born.
The shop is named after Carol's mother. Rita Mae taught Carol everything she knew about knitting and crocheting. Carol then passed down the craft to Stacey.

We hope you enjoy the shop! We have worked very hard on it and are extremely proud of it. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us. We will be very happy to help you.

    Owner, Creator, Curator

Stacey loves to crochet. She first learned how when she was a little girl, admiring the work that her mother had done. Stacey also has a great passion of vintage from the 60's-90's, and making vintage inspired jewelry.

  • Carol Miller

    Owner, Creator, Curator

Carol is the other half of Rita Mae's. Carol has been crocheting, knitting and creating for about 50 years. It's Carol's mother who the shop is named after. Rita Mae is the wonderful woman who taught Carol these beautiful techniques.

I remember being a young girl and admiring the beautiful items that both my mother and grandmother would make. From quilting, to knitting and even painting and drawing, I thought they could do it all (and still do) and I've drawn so much inspiration from these amazing women.

This shop is dedicated to my grandmother, Rita Mae. My mother, Carol, and I opened it jointly to share the two things that all three of us are passionate about ... handmade and vintage items.
