A Lifetime of Creativity

I've always had a love for being crafty, which came from my mom. My mother used to make miniatures and even had her own company, building a substantial following through miniature shows and stores and even before that, as a child, she used to make clothing for her dolls and Troll dolls, which progressed to making her own custom clothing as an adult.

My mom passed this love on to me, as when I was young, she taught me how to sew and the very first thing I made was a sleeping bag for my Barbie dolls. I ventured into all sorts of crafts, from painting and drawing to making miniature food for my dolls out of clay with her help.

Now that I'm an adult, I've kept my love for creativity and DIY and now I enjoy making jewelry and accessories for myself. I've also made my own Halloween costumes and accessories for the last few years as well. I'm constantly looking through my wardrobe to figure out what jewelry pieces each outfit needs to finish it off and if I can't find anything, I'll make it! If I like how the pieces turn out, I will often make something similar for my Etsy shop. I figure if I'm looking for a certain piece and haven't found it yet, there's a good chance someone else is too!

For future personal projects, I would love to tackle refinishing or repurposing some vintage furniture; I watch a lot of HGTV and DIY Network shows and have seen so many projects I'd love to try!

I love fun jewelry and accessories! If I can't find a certain piece, I don't hesitate to make it myself. There's nothing better than having someone ask you where you got something and being able to tell them you made it!
