It's P.E.R.F.E.C.T, Diane!! Hubby loves* it. Has already shown it to his buddies. Fast shipping and wrapped sweetly in gift wrap...I didn't expect that! Custom made just for me, Diane was an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you, thank you! Sending my mother your info so she can check out your wonderful wares :)

About

Riverpebble Stonewear is about Nature

Where did that name come from? I've been asked a few times about it. It has to do with the fact that my mom would travel to places and bring me these little smooth pebbles from some of the places that she and my father visited.
It became a nice little collection and I became interested in collecting stones, rocks and shells on my own. As time passed, I forgot about them and raised a family, worked in my career and just lived life.
I was given another wired wrapped rose quartz nugget and recalled my 'collection'. So I started studying the stones and was given an amethyst geode for my desk. After a few years, I started making pieces and was inspired by the beauty of natural stones and handmade trade beads. Research has further prompted a hobby and I found that people like my handmade jewelry, so the timing was right when I found Etsy. I already had been making natural soap and this was sort of a lifestyle extension of being natural. I discovered trade beads and found them to be fascinating and the historic significance of ancient beads and beadwork to be a common thread in most all cultures.

Oh back to the name...those little pebbles were usually the result of river erosion, thus river pebbles! I have this personal philosophy in life that as a stone wears away over time in the swift waters, it gives it's precious, life-enhancing minerals to the stream.
So support handmade and natural!

I've always been an artist and attended art school too many years ago. I love making things and still work professionally as a graphic designer. Jewelry is a expression of my love of nature and a tribute to the Creator because His work lasts forever.

Payment
I currently only accept Paypal and Etsy'sDirect Checkout. It's great because Paypal now accept credit card payments without having to register an account. I also accept payment from customers internationally.
Shipping
Let's support the USPS. I ship everything by USPS mail, especially because it allows tracking and we can always add insurance if you request that in convo. If you want it faster, please convo me for the shipping cost. I will invoice any additional shipping expenses through Paypal only. International shipping will not be priority mail, so please allow for the difference in shipping times which may be as much as three weeks for some countries...sorry for that. I wish I could control the postal handling outside of the US, but it isn't possible at this time to track international items beyond a customs form.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I ship items within 5 days of your order if it is in stock, custom items will ship in 7-15 days from accepted order and you will receive notification by email. Each piece will be gift wrapped in a box, with secure bubble envelope or shipping box.

We will include free gift wrap if requested.

All purchases over $40 will be automatically insured by USPS at my expense.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want my customers to be happy. If anything gets lost in shipping please let me know. I will replace the item, or if it's unavailable and there is nothing you would like as a substitute, I will refund the item. Damaged items can be returned to me for replacement. I'll return cost of postage for your convenience. This is a good reason to insure and track.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Items can be requested through the custom section of my page. If you see something that you like, it's possible to make in different lengths, or different stones.
Custom items take time and the expectation is for payment of completed items. A photo of the completed item will be posted in your reserved listing for your approval or emailed in an attachment prior to purchase. Communication through convos or emails is best to determine the details of the custom work. If the work is extensive or requires additional materials, partial payment may be required in advance and that will be communicated to the buyer before the custom item can commence.

The jewelry I make is as if for myself. It is made with every intent be the very best that I can make by hand. In that regard, there will be irregularities one should expect in handmade items and natural stones. Most items are one-of-a-kind, but styles may be similar. Please feel free to convo with any questions.

Enjoy!
