Original Art and Yarn at an Affordable Price!

Wanting to be an artist started when I was just a child, ever since I can remember, creating art was the only thing I ever loved to do! Being an artist was all I ever wanted and it was what inspired me every day!

I've been interested in many different art mediums. I liked to draw, sculpt, paint, knit , design yarn, spin yarn, stamp, scrap, collage, mix media. It was not until I was in my early thirties that I truly realized that above all other arts, painting was my true calling. In my forties dying yarn called to me, taking the painting to a whole new medium... yarn and as always, doing what you love everyday is a true blessing.

I started my art career painting murals and doing stage and set design. Becoming a certified framer and mat designer was one of the most rewarding careers for me. It enabled me to see so many original pieces of art and so many mediums, it inspired me to do my first paintings on canvas. Later this career path led me to transition into canvas and water color mixed media pieces that I feel portray who I really am as an artist. Many of my earlier pieces were in galleries in Southern California, or were commissioned private pieces.

As an artist and a wife of a United States Marine, I gather inspiration from the situations I've lived and experienced and express them through my paintings, drawings and works of art, and now my latest medium yarn.
