He pasado la mayor parte de mi vida viviendo en una zona ribereña, el espacio donde el río se encuentra con la orilla. ¡Ser guía de río y administrador de las montañas me ha llevado naturalmente a ser curiosa y completamente enamorada de mi entorno!

Mientras guío el Middle Fork del río Salmon o miro hacia la historia de nuestro planeta desde el fondo del Gran Cañón, ¡estoy enamorado de las rocas! Al flotar por el río pienso en el camino que compartimos con la lluvia y las montañas haciendo nuestro viaje hacia el mar.

Me di cuenta de que estas pequeñas piezas de la historia eran del tamaño y la forma perfectos para las perillas de los gabinetes. Son fáciles de agarrar y se sienten muy bien en tu mano. Era una forma bellamente funcional de llevar el aire libre a su hogar. Hice el primer juego para poner en mi cocina y baño. Pronto los estaba haciendo para familiares y amigos y recibiendo más solicitudes a medida que la gente los notaba. Quería compartirlos con todos, ¡así que creé un sitio web con la esperanza de hacerlo!

I have spent most of my life living in a riparian zone, the space where the river meets the shore. Being a river guide and steward of the mountains has naturally led me to be curious and completely in love with my surroundings!

While guiding the Middle Fork of the Salmon River or looking up at our planets history from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I am in love with the rocks! When floating down the river I think about the path we share with the rain and mountains making our journey to the sea.

I realized that these little pieces of history were the perfect size and shape for cabinet knobs. They are easy to grab and feel great in your hand. It was a beautifully functional way to bring the outdoors into your home. I made the first set to put in my kitchen and bathroom. Soon I was making them for family and friends and getting more requests as folks noticed them. I wanted to share them with everyone, so I created a website in hopes to do so!
