Their Love Started Their Business
Richmond and Bernice had a traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony in Ghana. Because their friends in the US were not able to attend, they posted pictures from their wedding on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day. The response to their pictures was overwhelming! Although people were happy for the love that they shared, they were equally enamored with the clothing worn during the different ceremonies. Many people sent Bernice requests to bring them back just one authentic item from Ghana, as they knew it would be unlikely that they would ever get to visit Ghana or any other country in Africa. Eager to share the beauty of Ghana with anyone interested in the US, Bernice bought as much stuff as she could before returning to the US. The recipients of the items that she bought commented on how others loved the items she selected and wanted similar items. After a couple of months of careful planning, RNB (Richmond & Bernice) launched their company. Their hope is that you will also love the beautiful designs that come from Ghana and other African countries as much as they do!
