I love to sew and make quilts. I think that every bed needs a warm quilt.
My name is Robin and I love to sew and make all kinds of quilts. I personally piece every quilt top and use a quilting frame and my Bernina 830 sewing machine to quilt all my projects. I named my shop Robbienae because that is the nickname given to me by my father.
I learned to sew from my mother when I was 10 years old. My first project began in 1969 when I made a yellow plaid mini skirt with one seam and an elastic waistband. I spent many years making everything from skirts, baby dresses, curtains and dust ruffles to making beautiful quilts.
Every bed needs a warm quilt. All my projects are made with loving care in my home sewing studio located in the heart of North Carolina.
