I recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz after four years studying visual arts with a focus on metalsmithing. Now in it's fifth year, Soasa is the venue by which I feed my constant need to create and work with my hands. With my jewelry I seek to emphasize the beauty of simplicity through subtle color and basic forms which are the product of reduction and restraint while designing. In an effort to make my jewelry available to as many people as possible I utilize both purchased and handcrafted components to create high quality, affordable pieces.


Soasa (pronounced So-sah) is derived from the initials of my original business name, Soul of a Starving Artist. The name reflects the intensity that many entrepreneurs encounter, the feeling of pouring one's very essence into the production of one's work.

Returns and exchanges
If something should arrive at your home damaged in any way I will of course fix it free of charge. If you find that you don't want an item you may return it within two weeks and you will be given store credit for the cost minus shipping once I have received the item.
Payment
I accept payment through PayPal, check, or money order. If you are uncomfortable signing up for Etsy.com please e-mail me and we'll work it out!

New York customers will be charged sales tax. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but it's the law! The tax will be added automatically when you complete your payment through PayPal. If you wish to pay through other means please contact me, but sales tax will still apply.

Please complete your payment no later than 5 days after your purchase.
Shipping
I ship standard US Parcel with delivery confirmation, and if you would like insurance please contact me. I will package your order in bubble wrap, and I have not had a problem with packages arriving safely however if you prefer to err on the side of caution I totally understand.

-HOLIDAY SHIPPING UPDATE-
All packages will include handcrafted gift wrap (you can see an example in the shop). If you would like me to ship directly to the recipient, please let me know.

Last ship dates before Christmas (official from the USPS):
US - Dec. 18th
Canada - Dec 13th*
Mexico - Dec 10th*
Other - I cannot guarantee, but would recommend Dec 1st

All domestic shipping will be free through Dec. 18th. This includes delivery confirmation, but not insurance. Please contact me to add insurance to your purchase.

All international shipping includes tracking (through the customs form) and insurance when available. If your country is not listed please contact me to go over the details.

If you would like to expedite or upgrade your shipping, please let me know.
