My endless random collection of oil pastels.

A step in the process of oil pastel etching.
I live in a little mountain town in West Virginia where I run an art gallery with three friends. I am a full-time artist and mom. I have had many other jobs, and many interests in the various distractions of life, but have always been strongly compelled to create art, in one form or another.
I like to paint with all manner of colored substances...oil...acrylic...watercolor. However most of the prints in this shop are from oil pastel etchings, which is my current favorite art form. I layer the oil pastels and carve down through them to create an image. It's a fun and sometimes unpredictable process, during which hands and arms and clothing usually get a bit colorful...and I like that about it too.
Thanks for looking, and thanks for helping to support independent artists everywhere!

Prints are sealed in a plastic sleeve and shipped flat with cardboard backing. I use recycled and repurposed shipping and packing materials whenever possible. Contact me if you have any questions or special requests.
U.S. CUSTOMERS:
I use first class and priority mail which ship very quickly - typically arriving within 3 business days, and with tracking included for all prints 8x10 and larger.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
International packages will be shipped First Class International Mail which generally takes 1-3 weeks to receive. Please note that certain countries have VAT or customs fees that may apply upon receipt of the order, and which the customer is responsible for paying. If you are unsure of your country's policies, please check them before placing your order.
Additional policies and FAQs
I do my very best to measure the prints accurately, and all sizes are listed in inches. For some of the non-standard prints, the actual size of the image may vary within 1/8 of an inch or so. If you have any specific requirements I would be happy to work with you.
Also, let's just face it, computers are all different. Colors of the print you receive may slightly vary from what is on your screen, due to differences in monitor calibration.
Thanks! Have a marvelous day!
