About

mental health zines are for everyone

Hi--I'm Laura-Marie. I'm diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and was formerly diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I started my shop as a way to reach readers who are interested in mental health. My zines are for us, for family, for friends. For disabled people and those who love disabled people. For everyone.

I write the zine functionally ill, which is about being crazy. It's autobiographical and personal. I'm up to issue 17, and I've been writing it for about seven years. So I've gone on quite a journey from issue 1, and I welcome you to read all of them or pick and choose which issues appeal to you the most. Some common themes are therapy, self-care, the Icarus Project, and working the system.

I also have zines about gardening, poverty, and activism. I have poetry zines too. Please contact me with any questions.
