It is exactly what I expected. An awesome robot I can hang on the wall. I like it so much, I may commission the rest of his body someday :-)

Love it! Perfect for my husbands home office.
I make robots, the decorative kind that like to stand around, not the skynet kind.
Who? Artist: maker of awesome Robot Sculptures: Decorative Geekery known as HerArtSheLoves all over the web. My background is in digital illustrating and polymer clay sculpting, BUT most importantly I'm a Über nerd. All manner of science fiction I love.
Why? I began working with polymer clay in childhood and returned to the media through out the years. In 2009 I combined my love of geek and sculpting to create robot sculptures. All manner of sci-fi, I freakin' love. Why make robots? Because THEY ARE AWESOME. K-9, Bender, Robbie the Robot... I get to work with an art media I fell in love with as a child and get my geek on every day!
How? Polymer clay is shaped into robotic goodness, beads added for eyes and wire woven into springs to make the neck, arms & legs. After baking, multiple coats of varnish are brushed on for protection and shiny delight.
I offer custom Robot Wedding Cake Toppers, Robot Business Card, Robot Pets, anything robot related goodness you can think of. Contact me today and let's get this awesomeness started: http://etsy.me/l8z58d

A: One-of-a-kind (ooak) polymer clay art sculptures handmade by (me) HerArtSheLoves! Though they have those most adorable child like faces, you cannot play with them as this could damage the sculpture.
Q: Who makes these robot sculptures and why?
A: ME! Nice to meet you. *waves* I'm an artsy gal that goes by HerArtSheLoves.

Q: Why the little heart?
A: Because we all need a little heart in life.
Q: Are the Robots toys? Q: Do the Robots move?
A: NO, even though they look cute and have springy necks, arms and legs they are NOT bendable! The robots are art sculptures.
Q: How are they made?
A: Each robot is handmade by me. Polymer clay is shaped into robotic goodness, beads added for eyes and wire woven into springs to make the neck, arms & legs (coiling gizmo rocks). After baking, multiple coats of varnish are brushed on for protection and shiny delight.
Q: How long does it take you to make one?
A: Since each are handmade and vary in size and details it can range from several days to weeks. I work on multiple sculptures at a time, sculpting while pieces bake, painting baked pieces, coiling wire into future limbs, it's a never ending cycle. :)
Q: Have a question? Q: Want a custom wedding cake topper?
