I launched Rock Candy by Helen in 2005, first showing jewelry at artist studios and group shows, then opening up an Etsy shop in 2008. It took a while for me to commit to Etsy.

During that time distinct jewelry lines have evolved: Le Cadeau (whimsical images under resin) & Briey Poste (vintage postage stamps under glass). I also collaborate with my husband, musician & artist Jon Langford, to create unique and affordable art pendants. In addition to the ready-to-wear lines, I also make bespoke pieces using pearls & gems and upcycled vintage treasures.

Each piece of jewelry is designed and individually hand-crafted by me in my Chicago studio.

In 2010, Rock Candy by Helen won the “Designer of Distinction” award.
