A handful of these stitch markers went out this season to customers giving gifts to knitters, and I can’t wait to see what beautiful projects the recipients use them on! Perhaps a warm hat or cozy shawl, handmade with love!
You gem lovers are quite a photogenic bunch! This beauty scored a pair of amethyst tube earrings that look like they were meant to be on her ears. There are only a few more of these in the shop, get them delivered in time for Christmas!
To make your gift-giving even easier I just added seven jewelry pieces to the sale section in the shop! They are all 20-50% off, which means there’s room to add something to the cart for yourself as well!

About

Rock That Gem is a handcrafted jewelry company providing gorgeous gemstone jewelry for you to ROCK.

As a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) with over twelve years of experience in the jewelry industry, I have an endless love for gemstones. I also have an acute understanding of their properties, beauty, and value. Five of my years in the jewelry industry were spent as a gemstone grader and buyer for a wholesale loose gemstone supplier. Searching through parcels of gems, I would seek out only the loveliest stones to be used in jewelry -- the ones with proportions that showcased the color and beauty of each gem in the best possible way. This awareness for detail and love for gems has lead to Rock That Gem, a line of gemstone jewelry where the beauty of the stone is the focus. Simple design and clean lines means it is all about you and the gemstone. Layer the rings and necklaces together for a strong and gorgeous gemstone statement, or wear a piece alone to let the natural good looks of both you and the gemstone shine!

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Jewelry is meant to be worn! Help your new pieces last a long time by following these steps:

- Apply all body lotions, makeup, hairspray prior to putting on your jewelry. At the end of the day, remove your jewelry and gently wipe it with a soft clean cloth to remove any oils or residue.

- Keep your jewelry away from water, especially chlorinated pools or hot tubs. If your jewelry does get wet, pat it gently with a cloth and lay it out to dry.

Care instructions

- Metals, especially sterling silver, can oxidize over time. Limit their contact to the air by keeping them in their fabric-lined jewelry box or a sealed bag. Sterling silver pieces are shipped with a polishing cloth. Whenever oxidization appears, gently rub the area with the cloth to remove any tarnish.

- Dainty jewelry is beautiful because of its delicate nature, and requires extra love. Avoid wearing those pieces while working out, house cleaning, etc. Have children who love to tug on your necklaces? Send me a message and I can give you options for an even sturdier chain!
