I feel super fancy in the Wanda Woodward collarette! This is definitely for the gal who wants to add a little interest and vintage flare to her outfits. It's hard not to look like a sexy pin-up in this little number. ;)

My name is Kristen and I'd like to thank you for visiting my shop! Rococonouveau was founded in my cozy home studio by the sea, where I have been a designer of all things fancy in my beloved city of San Francisco for five wonderful years.

For as long as I can remember I’ve felt a particular connection to things of the past: vintage and period fashions, early 20th century classic film, vintage erotica & pinup photography, art deco architecture, art nouveau textiles & jewelry, and the gilded splendour of the rococo era. The goal in all my work on this project is to merge the essence of these core inspirations with the modernity of the 21st century. Thereby preserving the beauty of these bygone styles in a way that is relevant to today’s aesthetics. Hence, the name rococonouveau!

The rococonouveau shop currently features my current favorite ladies fashion accessory design which I have lovingly named the Collarette. Collarettes are vintage inspired detached collars which lie daintily on the collar bone and fasten in the front with a ribbon. They come in several colors and patterns in one of two styles. The Buster Brown: a rounded, reversible collar which ties in the front with a bow – two collars for the price of one! As well as the soon-to-be-unveiled Madeline: a pointed collar with criss-cross ribbon which fastens in the front with a fancy button. All are painstakingly hand made with the utmost attention to quality, style, and individual personality. I also favor using vintage and repurposed materials whenever possible, making a portion of my pieces as unique as they are eco-friendly.

But I don’t plan on stopping there! I have big plans for rococonouveau and will be regularly designing new pieces to add to my collection. Keep an eye out here, or visit to stay in the loop about my latest inspirations and fancy designs, or “Like” rococonouveau on facebook to be kept in the know.

Thanks again & happy shopping!

Looking for something very specific that I don't have listed? Great! Convo me and we'll see what I can do to make the custom collarette of your dreams.

I will do my best to make it happen given I have the supplies available. Some of the fabrics I use are vintage and are therefore very limited, so I may not be able to produce every request.
