i work hard to create one of a kind artistic chalkbags. bags with images are hand pressed (blockprinted) with my own handcarved lino blocks. each one is created with wonder and passion. some have paint as an underlayer. the chalkbag is my canvas. why not have a piece of functional artwork hanging from your harness... climbers are my traveling gallery.

my first designed and crocheted monster chalkbags i made for my boys back in 2010.
A happy collision of art and sport.

Our familiy started rock climbing the summer of 2010. I made my first chalkbag that fall. Among those first creations, I dreamed up, designed, and crocheted Monster Chalkbags, because my kids were little and I thought it would be fun to have a monster hanging from your harness. It was a big hit but then my work evolved as I played around with more ideas. My latest obsession is blockprinting. I sketch out an image, carve it into a rubber block, and print it onto canvas, which I then sew up. I design and create every one of my bags.
I like to think that Climbers are my traveling gallery.
