I bought this to use on some surgery scarring and it is definitely helping to soften the scars and decrease the redness. Also helping to fade acne scars. This stuff is great and again I love that it is all natural and I know exactly what is in it. Thank you for making another awesome product and will be buying again!

This kit is AMAZING! I am in my mid twenties and have had pretty bad acne for a few years now. I have tried sooooo many things, none of which have really worked. I do not want to use heavy duty chemicals and steroids to treat my skin so I am always looking for natural acne products. Let me tell you, this stuff works! I have used it for about a week now and my skin is already becoming clearer and softer. My pores are smaller, my skin is less oily and red, and my blemishes are healing faster than they usually do. Even my acne scars are getting better. It's a super easy routine, smells great, and I love that everything is organic and found in nature! Highly recommend this kit if you suffer from stubborn acne and will definitely be purchasing more. Thank you for making this wonderful treatment! :)

About

Rooted Earth Farm

Organic bath & body care + herbal apothecary.
Made with love & positive intentions.

We live in a tiny little town in the amazingly gorgeous Lakes Region of Maine, in Casco. We live on 5 acres with 22 chickens, 1 cat (Herbie the lovebug), 1 dog (Charlie), 2 guinea pigs (Twixie and Ginger) and lots and lots of plants. We love it and treasure every day that we get to live this life on this farm. We are a small two person company (my husband & me!) and do everything ourselves so everything has a personal touch and has to pass our strict standards of quality.

Sustainability is extremely important to us – we do our best to incorporate it into every aspect of our personal life and work life at Rooted Earth.

I graduated from UMaine with a BS in Environmental Horticulture, minor in Sustainable Agriculture, and another minor in Business. My degree is extremely helpful in many ways, but especially in knowing how to properly identify plants when I am wild-crafting, and how to grow them properly. I am also working on my third herbalism certification.

I have been creating and selling herbal skin care and apothecary products for over 20 years. My love of herbs began as a child through my grandmother's love of herbs. She always had big gardens filled with herbs and I loved walking through and smelling and becoming familiar with each one. We would often take a trip to eat at an herb themed restaurant in New Hampshire and it's one of my most favorite memories.

Herbs were the beginning of my love affair with plants and my reason for seeking a degree in horticulture/agriculture and in starting the farm. I have been growing organic & sustainable fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, and herbs for many years.

Spending days outside with the magic of mother nature, watching the miracle of a seed turning into something that gives energy and health, as well as nights/winters inside creating sustainable, organic body care and apothecary products is what I was meant to do and I am so grateful for all of Rooted Earth’s customers for giving me the opportunity to do so.

My items are created in small batches using organic and/or wild-crafted ingredients. I only wild-craft here on our land and in a sustainable way, always leaving enough of the plant/plant stand so that it can still grow and reproduce in the future. I am constantly replanting seeds and harvesting with pure intention and respect for my environment. My products are never tested on animals and the beeswax and honey that I use come from our farm bees so that I know they are harvested in a respectful and sustainable way. All products can also be made vegan, just ask!

Sammy (aka Big Mama), Lucy, Flower, Chloe, Amelia, Abby, Liberace, Popcorn, Boots, Sid, Bertha, Henrietta, Dahlia, Laverne, Shirley, Penny, Vivian, Annie, Clementine, Harper, Magnolia, and Janis are the chickens. They provide us with the best organic eggs, lots of love, and endless hours of entertainment. They love being involved with the farming – digging for bugs and worms, and playing in the grass. They also provide us with lots of great organic matter for the soil! They are our pets, not farm animals, we love them so much and they get to live out their full life here at our farm even when they retire from laying :)

Herbie the cat loves to snuggle more than anything in the world. He is also my sewing supervisor and has been since he was just a few months old.

Charlie is the farm dog. He loves to dress up and you will find him looking handsome in his many sweaters on our Instagram page. He also loves sunbathing while I work on the farm.

Twixie and Ginger are our guinea pigs and they fill our lives with their sweet little squeaks and faces.
