My name is Tosha, which means last one in swahili. I am the last of three children two beautiful older brothers who have nourished my creative growth. The children of two artistic Caribbean parents were always a little bit different :)
The first thing that I ever made was a horrible crochet change purse for my best friend in middle school. I cannot even tell you what it resembled but it was made to hang around her neck. It was horrid and coins probably fell through the holes but she wore it!
Eventually I started making hats ( tams) for both myself and my brother who has locs. He would tell me that he could feel my energy in the hats. After hats I moved on to making dresses and tops for both myself and my friends to wear to parties.
I have never crocheted a bootie, a doily or a blanket not sure I ever will. I love to make pieces that stand out. I am firstly a designer and my medium of choice happens to be yarn. I love to create and have branched out into wire work, bead work and even have dabbled into some leather work, I love funky one of a kind pieces. I make the things that I want to rock. If I would wear it I wont make it. Lol .. I think that that is what keeps my brand honest....

My favorite medium is definitely yarn! I enjoy pairing vibrant colors in a unique way. The next runner up for medium is wire for wire wrapped rings but I definitely can't forget about my bead obsession! One order of funky earrings coming right up!!! Look around, make yourself at home while I get us some tea!
