I am a crafty mum of two children and wife, inspired to create little things for people to enjoy with great care and love.

From a hairdresser, to a career in administration and marketing, this was certainly an exciting career change as I travelled a lot of the world at the same time. But as my 20's were disappearing and I'd been away from NZ for so many years, I decided home was where my heart was and so I returned. That's when I found myself to be quickly happily married to a wonderful husband and have two beautiful children, all of which I much adore.

I have had a huge privilege to be a stay at home mum and see my kids grow the last 7 years. Although very busy, it has been one of the best jobs ever and that's where Roseabylily came along. I always have to be doing something with my hands, and I began to knit and sew all the time, from quilts to cloths to anything useful for the home, and this is how this little shop developed. We opened in 2016 and my children have learned to operate a sewing machine and sew, cut fabric, make cards and much more... They absolutely love working along side me and these are good skills to have.

Roseabylily is pronounced 'Rose a by lily'. How did this come about? Well of course these names would have to be linked to my babies. It wasn't easy to find an available name combining Rose and Lily and so at that point of time I was singing lullabies to my baby, 'rock a by baby' and then came 'rose a by lily'. There we had it.

Custom and personalised orders

I am very happy to make custom orders, please message us with any enquiries.

Can you combine the shipping if purchasing more than one item?

Yes shipping can be combined if the total weight doesn't go beyond 200grams. If weight goes beyond this, I will notify you of anything extra.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your handmade item can either be wrapped in brown paper and twine/ribbon or put into a clear plastic sleeve. Please message me if you have a preferred choice.

Refunds and Exchanges

If you are not happy with your purchase, for whatever reason, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order and we will try to resolve the problem.

Customer pays for return postage unless the product is faulty.

We will only refund shipping costs if the product is faulty.

Refunds will be given once we have received the item in 'as bought' condition.

Please note that custom made orders are non-refundable.

International parcels

International parcels may be delayed by the Customs process and once a parcel is shipped it is out of our control. If you haven't received your parcel, please contact us and we can investigate for you through NZ post immediately using the receipt number that was given to us when we shipped your item. Lost or missing orders, our policy is to first locate the order in the courier system and assist with any delivery issues. The order will then be replaced if the delivery issue cannot be resolved.

We are not responsible for a parcel if we have been given the wrong delivery address.

If you would like to include tracking on an item, please notify us and we can upgrade your shipping costs to include this.

Processing times for Made to Order/Custom Orders

Please allow 1-2 weeks to complete made to order / custom made orders. If you have an urgent request however, please message me and we can together on a possible ETA.

Lost or damaged items

If you haven't received your parcel, please contact us and we will investigate for you through NZ post immediately using the receipt number that was given to us when we shipped your item. Our policy is to first locate the order in the courier system and assist with any delivery issues. If your order cannot be located after a given time, NZ Post may provide a refund for the cost of the item purchased. An investigation can take 4-6 weeks.

We are not responsible for a parcel if we have been given the wrong delivery address.

If you would like to include tracking on an item, please notify us and we can upgrade your shipping costs to include this.

Bulk orders and Shipping

Bulk orders can be offered at discounted rates which vary in quantity. Shipping costs will vary as well depending in quantities. Please message me for an official quote.

Can I return face masks?

Due to health reasons, we cannot return face masks.

Covid-19 delays

Covid-19 is unfortunately causing significant delays worldwide for the post. Countries who have been significantly affected by the virus and have had a lockdown period, the post system is working through a back log of parcels which is pushing the usual delivery time out from approx 2-4 weeks extra. Please be in contact however on your parcels so we can investigate for you, but please realise that the world situation is impacting everything and deliveries are not per usual timeframe.
