5 out of 5 starsTeri, I received the mugs upon my return home late last night. The mugs arrived safe and sound due to your secure packaging. Words are inadequate when it comes to describing how perfect the mugs are. I am proud to give a gift of the beautifully crafted items that you have made. These are the many items that we poured and hand sculpted from porcelain clays. They are almost ready for painting.

Home based porcelain artists
What do we do? Some of the work we do starts with blank white porcelain. We then draw on a design that we use kiln fired paints to paint the color on. We paint and fire several times to get the color built up and the intensity of the shade. Many special techniques and paints are also used in the creation of our hand painted porcelain.
Some of our work is low fire ceramic, and we also do high fire porcelain clay work.
How did you start your shop? We started in a kitchen in a very small upstairs apartment. We were doing classes in the kitchen and then grew to the spare bedroom and finally a room in the downstairs. When we got our first house half the basement was dedicated to the teaching and painting studio. We have since moved again and a lot the work is done in a garage converted to be our studio.
How does it all work? Everyone has a role. Teri does most all of the teaching and painting. June Rose sculpts and paints for Rosebud. April does mostly low fire work and wheel work. She also is our photographer. Bob does everything else.
