About

It's been a long time coming.

Hi! I’m Kristin and I really love knitting. So much so, that I’ve made the crazy decision to sell my work.

Rosemary and Twine officially launched on September 29, 2017, but it’s been a long time coming.

I learned to knit as a middle schooler during a family vacation. Since then, I’ve mostly taught myself (with the help of youtube) new techniques and skills as a knitter.

The name Rosemary and Twine is inspired by my master seamstress of a grandmother, Rosemary. Nana, as she is affectionately called by her 20-odd grandchildren, quilts, knits, sews, and bakes like the best of them.

My inspiration for the products of Rosemary and Twine come from my commitment to both practicality and aesthetics: it's gotta last, it’s gotta be comfy, and it's gotta look good. Textures, motifs, and palettes reflect both time-honored skills and the inspiration of the natural world.

This shop is a culmination of my growth as a fiber artist, my desire to cultivate creativity, and the drive to share my work with others. I love custom orders and new challenges, so bring your wildest ideas and watch them come to life.

I first learned to knit when at a family reunion in Hilton Head, SC (the weather was terrible, okay?). Since my middle school years I've grown as a self-taught fiber artist. I now knit from outside Baltimore, MD alongside my husband and two dogs.
