My shop began back in 2016 when I used to make wreaths for loved ones and began selling to coworkers. But I never had the nerve to post online, so my shop stayed empty until the pandemic hit in 2020 when I had a job freeze for a month and had nothing to fill my days with.
I instantly began to make some macrame pieces, and created Rose Petal Rhapsody to try and sell them. I've always been a huge flower lover, and have always wanted to work with flowers so that's where Rose Petal came from. I'm also a huge Queen band fan so Rhapsody was a tribute to their Bohemian Rhapsody song. And now is a tribute to the feelings I hope people get when they look at my floral pieces.
My shop has now turned into a niche of wedding keepsakes and bouquets which began from me planning my own wedding back in 2019 where I made my own WEDDING DRESS, bouquet, wedding floral arch, and afterwards made my bridesmaid her own bouquet keepsake shadowbox.
Working with floral, and making arrangements is what ultimately brings me the most joy. It's all from my head, my heart, or trends that I know others' would love to see but with my own spin to it.
What is all so perfect about this, is back when I was in college going for Hospitality Management, we had to do an assignment on what would be our dream business if we ever opened one. My answer was a one-stop-shop wedding store. I never planned to make my etsy shop into that niche of a store, but it just naturally happened as time went on. I hope you love my items, and I can't wait to see where this all is in the next 10 years.
