Growing up, I was lucky enough to have three Great Great Aunts living down the street from me, and everyday after school I would walk to their house to visit. All three sisters shared a love of the handmade and traveled the world in their younger years in search of treasured fabrics and yarns. They taught me how to knit, sew, and quilt by the age of four, and on a special day I was able to go down to their basement and rummage through their beautiful yarns. They meant the world to me - especially Nell, who first taught me how to knit. They are always with me, in my hands and heart.
