About

Based in beautiful New Gloucester, Maine - Ross and Carie build handcrafted furniture and decor that we hope you will absolutely love.

In 2014, we started the venture of finding our first home. Throughout this process, we discovered our love of design, rustic decor, and architecture. After a long search, we finally found our perfect home! We decided to make some changes before moving in so that it would be exactly what we wanted — changing the floors to wide plank barn wood boards was step one. It was a major undertaking, but we were bound to do them ourselves. This process helped us realize our love for rustic style, working together and sharing our passion with others.

Fast forward, and here we are! Now, we are proud to say that we are a husband and wife team built on quality, craft, and fun — making handcrafted pieces that will stay in your family for generations. With living in the beautiful state of Maine and being inspired by the Shaker community and craftsmanship in our area, we do what we love every single day! We hope to share our passion for woodworking with you through our furniture and decor to help turn your house into a home you love.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
Our goal is for you to absolutely love what you ordered. With that being said, if for some reason you don't, please reach out to us before leaving a comment. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and are willing to explore return, exchange, or credit for future purchase options. With any returns or exchanges, buyer is asked to pay shipping charges. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

**IF THE ITEMS ARE DAMAGED IN THE RETURN SHIPPING PROCESS DUE TO BEING SHIPPED IN A BOX NOT SUITED FOR THE ITEM - OR IMPROPERLY PACKAGED, A REFUND WILL NOT BE GIVEN.**
Payment
Made to order items (including custom orders): We begin work on your handcrafted item following payment. Even if a date is agreed upon for delivery, please note that your payment ensures that you will receive your item by the requested date. Since our items are made to order, once payment is made we purchase/source goods necessary to complete your project - please understand this makes cancellation very challenging for us. We understand things happen, but please reach out to us so that we can reach some mutually agreed upon resolution.
Shipping
We will do whatever we can to find the least expensive, yet safest way for your item to arrive to you in a timely manner. All items will ship out of Maine and we will only ship in the United States. With any larger or heavier items or orders with multiple items; there may be more than one package sent out to reduce shipping costs, due to box sizes (girth in some cases), or simply to manage weight in a box (you will receive tracking information for all boxes shipped out).

We will make sure we communicate with you as often as possible throughout your purchase and shipping process.

If an item is damaged in transit we will require photos of damage done and we will file a claim with the respective carrier. We will work to resolve these instances with you on a case by case basis as quickly as possible.

Some larger items may require some very basic assembly upon delivery (i.e. putting the ladder rungs - included in the box - in the holes in the decorative ladder to allow for more compact shipping).
