Textile Art You Can Wear

I've always loved crocheted granny squares. They are the quintessential hand-made item - sometimes so cheesy, but always delightful. They are colorful and fun - and you can do so much with them!

Everyone who sees my stuff has a fond memory to tell - about their Grandmother crocheting when they were younger, or the granny square blanket their aunt made them... I love the idea of taking those memories and adding some contemporary style.

I started making the granny square earrings, and everything else came from there -- but if you can see, it all sticks with the same basic foundation. Now I have chevron and chandelier earrings, purses, key chains and more - but everything owes its existence to that wonderful small beginning: the granny square.

I find these items make great gifts for the people in your life who knit or crochet - they understand the love that can go into something so small. Since starting this shop, I've also found that groups love to join in and celebrate heritage arts together -- it's a great way for you and your friends to celebrate your favorite team, or for a sorority to show their colors, or as a gift to your ladies for your wedding.
