Such a lovely jewel, evoking the days of tea and lace handkerchiefs. Robert, your work is inspired! Thanks for this. I enjoyed your note and little gift.

I love this ring! It’s even prettier in person! The stone is so gorgeous and I can’t stop looking at it! Thank you so much!!

About

Why not make it interesting?

A personal invitation is much more meaningful than a public broadcast, and far easier to comprehend. In an age of quick selfies and tweets, a completely handmade, one of a kind jewel still says, "I took my care, I searched, I thought only of you. You are important to me. Here's something so you will remember, a little thing well made and worth keeping, that flashes in the eye but is easy to hide."

I worked for a handful of years in a bronze sculpture foundry, covered head to toe in wax, making artworks for famous artists. I began to explore casting silver jewelry from waxes I had carved and which landed me the work, and was offered a studio as part of my pay. I moved on to work at an art gallery for five years, with a studio located in North East Los Angeles, where Eagle Rock, Mt. Washington, Highland Park, Glassell Park and Atwater in Glendale are, and began to focus on hand fabrication. At the moment I am jeweling full-time. I encourage you to strike up a convo if you have ideas.

Thank you for your interest.
