Announcement Do you know someone who loves bikes? I create fun lightweight earrings from upcycled bike inner tubes? The bike inner tube is an amazing material to work with. I take pride in using a material that was destined for the garbage but was given a second life.

These earrings are a little larger than expected, but their light weight doesn't make it a problem. Love having these as a conversation starter since people ask what they're made from. Workmanship and value are great. I'd order from this shop again.

I started wearing Rebecca's earrings last year and they are so lightweight, comfortable, bright and "modern" I no longer wear my old earrings that I used to make for myself. Hers are lighter than air and seem to accent whatever I am wearing.
Accessories created with upcycled bike inner tubes!
Thanks for visiting my shop! My hands are always busy making something; sewing, painting, cooking, gardening, etc. I recently moved from Maine to Northern California with my partner Stuart. Together, we have been enjoying setting up a new house in a Canyon of Chico, eating amazing fresh fruits, and exploring what California has to offer.
I went to art school for painting. I showed this work for over a decade. After getting my MFA, I discovered sewing. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with sewing as much as I have. I decided to create my Reshelly company because it gave me a way of sewing with bike inner tubes, use my love of color and patterns, and incorporate painting into the earrings. It has been a fun journey and I am thankful for all of the lovely people who have supported me with it.
My artistic endeavors have been featured in GreenCraft Magazine, Studio Magazine, Burdastyle Magazine (Germany), the Oregonian, the Willamette Week and the Portland Press Herald.
Rebecca is the creator of Reshelly. She sews, paints, embroiders, and builds the creations.
Stuart is Rebecca's partner and the designer behind the logo and cards. He is also her in house "Tim Gunn" and is great with helping to make sure she is keeping things interesting.

I love creating custom work. If you are interested in a bag or earrings in a certain color just send me a private message.
I can also create custom wedding, birthday and anniversary gifts. I love to draw and paint and this is an option that I will soon have available in my shop.
