The magnets were beautiful! They also came gift wrapped in a lovely package. These were a Christmas gift for my god parents who love gardening…they LOVED them!

About

Rebecca Shelly is an artist who creates upcycled accessories for those who enjoy wearing something unexpected.

She loves seeing the reaction from people when they find out that her accessories are made from upcycled bike inner tubes. Her clients have shared that they enjoy the same reaction! Rebecca is very interested in using material that would normally have been destined for the landfill. Her background in painting gives the bike inner tubes earrings a colorful level. By painting the normal black tube, it gets a new life.

Her art has been featured in Studio Magazine, Burdastyle Magazine (Germany), The Portland Press Herald, Willamette Week and the Oregonian. She has taught in the Pre-College program at the Maine College of Art and does private art tutoring.

An ideal day for Rebecca starts with a cup of coffee, a walk with her dog Frodo, and creating a list for what will happen for the day. Some days it is cutting and preparing fabric for bags, sewing, or taking photos. Others, it is working in her vegetable garden, canning items or trying to figure out how to bake bread. She shares this on her blog The Amateur Homesteader and as part of a monthly newsletter. At night, she loves curling up on the couch with her partner Stuart, watching a movie together and using this time to work on the computer side of her business. She can be found on Instagram, Pinterest, Etsy and Facebook. These links can all be found on her website: www.rebeccashelly.com

Payment
I accept payment through Paypal, credit, debit and etsy gift cards. I prepare shipping of the item once payment has been received.
Shipping
All my items are made and ready to ship. In order to keep my studio time consistent I send everything 2-3 business days after it is purchased. Everything is sent through the USPS. For US customers, the average shipment can take 3-7 business days. If you are interested in something sooner, please contact me about it. Depending on the day, sometimes I am able to ship sooner. If this is not possible, an upgrade in shipping may be an option as well.

If an item is damaged during transit, please let me know as soon as possible. I insure my packages and want to make sure that it arrives safely.

Shipping outside of the country can take a few weeks. You are responsible for all import fees, duties, VAT, GST/PST, taxes, etc. and this is not included in my prices. Insurance for outside of the country may not be available as well.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are ever unhappy with the product I would be more than happy to help remedy the problem. I take great pride in my work and I would like my customers to be happy with the product as well. Just send me an email and we can come up with something that works.
If you are interested in a refund, please return the item within two weeks (please email me before doing this though). The item needs to be in the same condition. A refund can be given once the item is returned to me. I will refund the product, but not for the shipping.
