Announcement    Welcome to Ruby Jane Textiles on Etsy!

I transform the old and unwanted into joyful fun things with a life of their own.
My creations are mainly aimed at adults wanting to dress up and have fun but also try to have a practical side by making them warm ,waterproof or feature lots of pockets.
My rag rugs demonstrate my more subdued side and with them I embrace my love of traditional craft.
All my products are handmade from recycled materials in the mountains of mid Wales.

I also do stalls at festivals, music events and craft fairs and am available to teach workshops on traditional rag rugging techniques, needle felting, recycling plastics, hat making, weaving, mending and patching and more.

Custom orders are always more than welcome and I strive to make sure the customer is happy with their purchase.

I love making commissions so please get in contact with your ideas, however vague, and get a quote. I will push for commissions to be as recycled as possible so sometimes it will take a bit longer to get the right fabric or we may have to make adjustments to design but at the end of the day customer satisfaction is the priority.

Returns and exchanges
Refunds are excepted within 2 weeks of purchase if the product is not what you expected or dose not fit.
Breakages or losses in the post are not covered unless you opt to have insured postage.

UK POSTAGE : All orders are first class with proof of postage which is guaranteed upto £20, you can upgrade to insured post for an additional fee, please state this with your order.

SHIPPING ABROAD: All oversees postage is economy postage and not tracked or insured. You can upgrade for an additional fee please state what method of postage you would like with your order.

Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS: On all custom orders a 30% deposit must be payed before I start work. I will contact you when your order is complete and it is time for the next payment(3-4 weeks), if you do not respond within 3 weeks I will sell the product.

I am very happy to do custom orders and to discuss the design and fabrics with you at length, the policy's here are a safety precaution only.
