Welcome to Ruby Ramona! My name is Alison and I am an artist and maker from Birmingham, UK. All my jewellery and accessories are handmade and inspired by everything from comic book art to historical fashions, tattoos and movies. I love to combine traditional embroidery with modern techniques like digital printing, text and photography to create something fun, fresh and unusual.

Returns and exchanges
Unwanted items: While I'm sure you'll be happy with your purchase, if for any reason you change your mind and want to return an item you can do so, within 14 days, for a refund, exchange or credit note. Items must be in original packaging and unused, and you will need to cover the cost of return postage yourself. Please contact me in the first instance to discuss your return, so we can get the best outcome for you, and see if we can exchange your purchase for something you prefer.
Damaged or faulty items: if you consider an item is damaged or faulty, please contact me straight away so that can replace the item as soon as possible. I will cover the cost of return postage for any damaged items and replace or refund the item.
I accept payment by PayPal only.
Many of my smaller items have free UK postage. Shipping in the UK is by standard second class post, all items are well packaged in card boxes and paper packages. Many items are hand made to order so please bear this in mind when ordering - it can take up to a week to dispatch items, please see individual listings for more details.
Additional policies and FAQs
Environmental policy: As a small, home-studio based business I hope my environmental impact is minimal, but there is lots of room for improvement. I am currently working to reduce waste and recycle as much as possible, both in production and packaging. In production, I am trying out recycled felts made from plastic bottles with some success, I am also looking into organic cottons for future ranges, although cost is a factor here! I try to use packaging that is recycled and recycle-able or re-useable, for example card boxes and paper wrappings rather than bubble wrap. Having said that, I will not send your purchase out in any kind of packaging that looks "re-used" or "second-hand" - packaging will always be fresh, new and ready to gift.
Custom orders: I welcome custom orders and commissions of all kinds, please contact me if you would like a special request and we can discuss your ideas.
