Vintage clothing, unique statement jewellery & accessories - each with a story to tell..

I like spotting bright, colourful, bold & pretty things and piecing them together in unique ways. I also have very eclectic tastes, so I've been collecting new and vintage materials and components for many years, knowing that one day they'll find their rightful use. At the end of the day, there's a lovely, unique piece which has its own unique story. At least that's how I think of it. Others have pointed out that this looks a lot like compulsive hoarding, but without the house full of cats.

My "Jumble" necklaces were the starting point for me in combining lots of my beautiful finds into cohesive statement pieces with a strong sense of fun and whimsy. I like the fact that nobody could ever replicate one of these, not even myself!

I love jewellery and accessories that are changeable, that will adapt to fit the mood of the wearer, not to mention the maker. "HoopLa" necklaces are my own design, made from segments of ribbon slotted onto hinged coloured hoops. This makes them really versatile, allows for adjustable sizing, and even lets you mix and match the components.

I love my horror movies, zombies in particular, so there will always be a place for the creepy, kooky and spooky in my store. My zombie cameos and memento mori pieces are so much fun for me to make, as I get to create a whole character and tell their story.

Every hand-made piece in my store is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) unique item. I don't mass-produce anything, and I don't bulk-buy huge amounts of components. This means nobody else in the world will ever have the piece that you are wearing, and that's what makes it special.

Along with vintage components, I also have been a collector of vintage clothing for many years. I tend to buy these pieces for myself, but alas - they can't all fit me. Those that don't will hopefully find a loving home here, through my shop.

Every hand-made piece in my store is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) unique statement piece. I don't mass-produce anything, and I don't bulk-buy huge amounts of cheaply made components. I collect unique sparkly things wherever I go, preferring to up-cycle from vintage components wherever possible. Whatever you see here, you are guaranteed to never see it on another human being, living or undead!

Returns and exchanges
If your item doesn't match the description when it arrives to you, please contact me to make arrangements to resolve the problem. If a refund is needed, I may require photographs to back up your claim. Note that I cannot be held responsible for items damaged in the post, but I make every effort to securely wrap each parcel to prevent this.

No refunds or exchanges are available if the seller changes their mind after purchase.
Payment
I accept Paypal or credit cards, and payment is due within 3 days of purchase. If you need more time, or you have special shipping instructions or questions, please let me know ahead of time.
Shipping
I ship all items within 5 business days of your payment being received. All items come beautifully gift-wrapped, bubble wrapped and sealed in a plastic zip-loc bag in case of rainy days and leaky letterboxes. I do my best to ship your item safely, but I cannot be responsible for how long the postal services actually take, or items that are lost in the mail. If your item does go astray, please contact me so that I can contact Paypal, Etsy and/or Australia Post as appropriate.

Tracking is included with all domestic delivery within Australia, however it is NOT included with international orders. Please message me if you require tracking to be added, as an additional charge will apply.

International postage from Australia is an extremely complex creature. All postage costs are reliant on size, shape and weight of the package. There is a huge degree of variation between postage costs for different countries. For this reason, it really is impossible to accurately estimate International postage costs in advance. I am always revising my postage costs for listings based on my best guess at an average across all countries. Quite often, the postage costs are significantly higher than what I have charged, particularly when you consider the wrapping, packaging and personally taking in each order to the Post Office to be weighed and paid. Please be understanding of this when you consider what is a reasonable postage and handling cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS: I am now able to offer custom one-of-a-kind orders! All you need to do is click the Custom Order link to start a convo with me. I'll need to know your preferred theme, colour palette, kind of item and any specific requests. I can then suggest an item to meet your desires, based on the materials in my collection. I don't replicate existing pieces, as all my pieces are guaranteed to be unique, but I'm happy to create pieces along similar lines, or with similar materials to the items in my shop. Prices, shipping and time frames are to be negotiated via Etsy Convo, and there is a 20% Custom Item Fee for custom creations.

I combine shipping costs for multiple items, and this is automatically included in the listing for each items. Smaller items come with free shipping when purchased with another item.

Bulk orders (6 or more items) qualify for a 20% discount, as long as those items are already listed in the shop. If I need to make up a bulk order specially, it will be the usual individual price (but without the 20% custom order fee I would usually charge).
