Announcement   4/25: Problem Child balms are up and running. The next step is lotions.
Last month, I did a bad thing and cut my finger up pretty badly at work. Plans have been on hold while stitches were removed and physical therapy was done. It's better, but my dexterity is down.

Good thing is that I got to road-test my own products! The healing balm and I are best buds by now. To reduce the scarring on that finger, I've been massaging a few drops of the blend into it every morning. It's helping out a lot.

About

I always said I'd be a bag lady..

As a senior in high school, I had a number of good colleges vying for me. My ACT scores were great but my funds were low. After answering a lot of phone calls, I declared that I was not going to college. I was going to become a bag lady!

Fast forward twenty years. I was in tech school trying to become a Physical Therapist Assistant still struggling financially. This family needed funds. I looked at the bag I had sewn for my knitting one day and asked myself, 'Could I sell that?" and I did. Over 7000 KIP bags are now out there happily encasing knitting projects. The PTA program was a washout, but the bag business thrived and allowed me to be a Stay At Home Mom during those difficult teen years of our Son.

My KIP Bag sewing days are over, but I do offer the pattern for sale. My focus has turned from Knitting Bag lady to working in a Food Lab making sure the food sold through the company's catalogs are microbe free. Recently, the last of the kids moved away and we're now 'Empty Nesters' looking to see what is next now that parenting is not full-time.

Yes, I used to be the KIP Bag lady. Yes, I do sell the pattern, and occasionally I put one up if I find it in my craft room. After 4 years of college, I'm out in the real world now and doing fine. My biggest accomplishment before me now is to clean a craft room. It's like a cave of wonders in there and I am excited to get back to some of my old hobbies like beading and essential oils.

Since the closing of the shop, I've been in-and-graduated school, and raising a flock of poultry: Geese, Ducks and Chickens. We're officially homesteaders now; growing and raising our own food and enjoying the slow life in the country. I'm still on Ravelry as ruddawg. I still use my own KIP Bags and am glad to see so many last over the years when I go to meetings and festivals.

If you have issues with something, let me know.
Thanks! Brenda

Additional policies and FAQs
NOTE NEW POLICY ON RESERVED LISTINGS:
If your name is NOT on the reserved listing, DON'T PURCHASE!!! After one person ruined a sale to a very good customer, I've changed my policy on this situation. If you attempt to snag another person's reserved listing, I will cancel the sale.

The solution to this problem is simple: If you see a reserved listing that you fancy, CONTACT ME! I will work out details of creating your own reserved listing.
Privacy
My Privacy Policy is simple: I use the information you provide to ship the item to you. If there is an issue with that item; I will use the information you provide to solve the issue. I do not use you physical address, email address nor your Etsy name to market my products.

There is no selling of my seller's info to a 3rd party. I do not keep a record of those sales after 2 years. The information is stored on my email client (recently changed to gmail due to Yahoo's policies) once that information is not needed for tax purposes, it is erased.

My clients can be assured that if you receive an email from me that is not pertaining directly to a sale, that it is not FROM me. I value my client's privacy too much to divulge that information to anyone other than me.
