Items will be shipped as soon as possible after we receive payment for your purchase. We use the US Post Office and now use Priority Mail with delivery confirmation so that we know the item was delivered.
Though we would prefer to keep shipping costs to a bare minimum, we have had to raise our shipping costs so that we can use Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. [It's not the same as insurance, but it greatly lessens risk of loss.] Shipping costs have risen almost 70% in the last month [as of March 7, 2013]. Please know, often the shipping that you pay us does not compensate us for the packaging or time it takes to mail your package. It only pays the post office. We're trying not to make a profit on shipping. [It is very difficult to figure shipping for an item when we have no idea what combinations of items someone will end up buying.]
If you order multiple items and want a discount in shipping, you must convo me before you make your purchase. I would be happy to make a special listing just for you. However, once you have paid for shipping, it will not be refunded.
Occasionally an item is shipped but does not make it to the buyer. We're so sorry! One of the reasons we ship Priority Mail is so we can provide you with the shipping and tracking information for your package. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a replacement or refund if we can prove that the package was sent to you in good faith. This is why we use Priority Mail. Since we switched to only Priority Mail, not a single package has gone missing - even the international ones.
We would be happy to arrange to have your purchase insured for an additional fee if you contact us immediately upon purchase and send additional payment.
Please note: International shipments can take months to arrive - even when sent via Priority Mail. If you get worried about your international shipment, email us and we'll send you the label and tracking information so you can initiate a search for it.
