Hi there! I'm Mary Lou and welcome to Rush Creek Vintage. We are so glad you're here!

As life-long collectors of old stuff with experience selling on other platforms, we decided to launch our very own website in February, 2020 (yep, right at the beginning of the pandemic... yikes!) We didn't really know what to expect, but decided to lean in for the ride.

Our Belief is Simple.

A home is much more than mere shelter; it should lift us up emotionally and spiritually. We need our homes to be a place of refuge from the outside world. Home is where we rest and recharge, the place where we are most free to be ourselves. Harmony, balance and rhythm is essential to our lives, therefore our home space.

How do you build a space where you will find sanctuary? If you wait until you can afford to buy everything new, you will be disappointed. A home should be put together based on how we want to live and feel, not how we think it ought to look.

It's layering old with new, the collected, the hand-me-downs and meaningful heirlooms that creates a comfortable style that is entirely our own. It's using natural materials, vintage or second-hand furniture with quality items that will become better with time and use.

Follow your own path. Make your own rules. Be patient. Have fun!

One thing we know for certain: our customers are discriminating. They want history, uniqueness, imperfection, patina. They make their own rules when it comes to styling their space.

So, at Rush Creek Vintage we offer a carefully curated collection of authentic vintage objects and accessories from different eras to help you create a cohesive narrative for your home. We do not offer reproductions or 'vintage-style' objects here. Nope. Only the real deal.

The Hunt.

We enjoy hunting for the uncommon - down back roads, at flea markets, auctions, antique shops and estate sales - finding forgotten pieces with old time craftsmanship, heart and soul.

My husband, rescue cat and I live in Central Ohio in our mid century home, perfectly located to search urban and rural areas for your next treasure.
