Here at Rustic American Country (RAC) we take just your ordinary boards and turn them into something that looks rustic and distressed and then we add inspirational sayings to each sign to give you something to treasure for years to come. We also are know for our very popular Rustic American Pallet Flags. My wife Erica and I and our 4 kids moved to the small town of Ooltewah, just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee 6 years ago. My wife Erica is a stay at home mom where she home schools two of our 4 kids Addison 8, Tristin 11, Trent 19, Alexis 19. We do have a mini farm where we started out just raising a few chickens and two goats which then turned into 30 chickens and 5 goats! Our chickens are all egg layers at this time but in the spring we do raise meat chickens. Our goats are all milk goats 2 boys and 3 girls, we raise Nigerian Dwarf goats because of their small size and sweet creamy milk they produce. We were getting lots of milk from them and were not sure what to do with it so my wife said why not try goat milk soap since our oldest boy has eczema and see if it helps his skin and sure enough it did. Now we use it on a daily basis and she makes it to sell on our site. The signs and flags came from an idea I had one day at a furniture shop I worked at when I noticed all the pallets that they would throw out and thought, Wow! What a waste of wood. I said I bet I could use these to build a nice American Flag and that is where it all started.
