Beautiful art and great gameplay. Every Iconica set I get is better than the last. Strongly recommended!

The Iconica series pushes all the right buttons for me: a fun game system, great art, and an interesting and engaging world. I hope Eric and Specimen are able to continue putting out limited releases like this so that those of us with the collector-bug in us can keep adding beautifully crafted cards to our collections in between his bigger releases. The item shipped fast and was at my place in a thoroughly appropriate amount of time. No regrets.

About

Travel By Imagination

I'm an artist, writer, and designer living in Phoenix, AZ with my family. The creations found here come from somewhere in my imagination. I'm always thinking about new projects and ideas to bring to life.

During my teens, I really started getting serious about art, design, and writing. As I became an adult and took on adult responsibilities, it was important to me to continue to hold on to the imagination and sense of wonder I enjoyed as a kid. Now, I invest quality time making things I'm excited about.

Our Etsy shop is truly a family effort. With the support of my wife Larissa and son Gavin, we create items in small batches and publish them through our little, family-run creative enterprise called Specimen.

Thanks for visiting our shop. We welcome open dialogue with our supporters, so send us your comments, suggestions, and questions. We respond to every inquiry.

Safe travels!

–Eric

Ask my parents, friends or teachers – as a child, my mind was always wandering somewhere between the real world and a faraway place. Now I have adult responsibilities, but I still make time for all that imagination stuff!

Larissa is the brains of our little shop. She makes sure everything ships on time, watches our cost and sustainability model, and helps us organize sweet events. Literally. She's been known to make delicious moon pies for our local events.

  • Gavin Torres

    Maker, Artist, Musician

Gavin helps us in so many ways. Packing orders, keeping inventory straight, and offering valuable creative feedback too. He's an aspiring musician and wants to learn how to make video games from scratch. Hmmm. We're keeping our eyes on this guy.

Additional policies and FAQs
ORDERING

We understand pictures don't always tell the whole story on an item, so email us if you have detailed questions. Please read the descriptions for each item on my site. We try to be very clear about things like sizing, materials and finish.

ABOUT OUR PRINTS

Limited edition prints are signed and numbered by hand. These "giclee" prints range in paper size from 8x10 to 16x20 and are made in small batches or created when ordered, depending on the size. We do take requests for custom sizes so contact us for a quote.

Open edition prints may include similar art as limited edition prints, yet are characterized by differences in sizing, color, composition, detail level, vertical and horizontal orientation, and paper quality. These prints are still created with the giclee print-making method and are signed before shipping.

CARING FOR PRINTS

Do not handle prints with dirty or greasy hands. The premium paper we use should be treated as fragile and is easily scratched, soiled, and stained. Take care not to bend or crease your print. For best display results, position the art so that it receives a good amount of light. Using small picture lights or adjustable track lighting to place light on the image will give the art a whole new level of presence.

BOOKS

Our books are signed before they are shipped. If you are ordering the book as a gift, please let us know the name of the recipient so that Eric can personalize the message a bit more.
