5 out of 5 starsI received another wonderfully handcrafted dimple dragon from Carol's workshop. Fast shipping! He has a ribbed blue belly, moving hind legs with toe pads, two-toned wings, and a carefree expression on his snoozing face. So happy to add yet another dimple dragon to my collection. He fits in perfectly with 12-13 inch action figures! Thank you for the gift!

5 out of 5 starsThis adorable small dragon, Squirt, is now Blythe's companion. He is small enough so that he fits on a chair with the Blythe doll. He has kaleidoscopic eyes, a blue pudgy belly and a light green hide. He is whimsical and beautifully handcrafted. Communication with Carol was excellent. He makes me smile when I look at him and he comes with an adoption certificate. Carol is a talented artist!

5 out of 5 starsThis dimple green dragon and penguin set is adorable. Georgie the Dragon is smaller than the photo would suggest which makes him ideal for placing on a shelf. Georgie doesn't take up any room and can also fit in a doll's lap. Georgie comes with an adoption certificate with his name! He is whimsical, beautifully handcrafted and just what I was looking for in a dragon! Fast shipping and very well wrapped!

All Art is Sacred
I have always loved creating some form of art. I started off drawing, got into painting and beading in my teen years and just kept trying new things as I got older. I tried doing a few craft shows and did fairly well, so when I heard about Etsy, decided to try out a store here.
I love it when someone loves what I create enough to want to own it. It is not just the sale, but that someone saw something in my work that spoke to them. I love making people happy.
I make all of my creations here at home. I do Needle Feting, Sculpting with clay, bead embroidery necklaces and Spirit Dolls, and drawing. I do a few others but these are my main ones.
I am inspired by nature, mostly animals. There is so much beauty, and cuteness there. And I love being able to convey that.
I have created several lines: Alphabet Pets are needle felted on wooden blocks: PETites are tiny needle felted animals: Catspaw Bears are my needle felted and hand sewn Teddy bears with a cat's paw print felted onto the back; Kitten Kaboodles and Puppy Doodles are simple needle felted cats and dogs; Owlfins are sculptures of Fantasy Owls done in polymer clay; and Dragonettes are needle felting baby dragons that come in eggs and you can hatch your own baby dragon.

Have been drawing and creating since first grade. I feel a need to create and do not feel complete unless I am. I love animals & this shows in much of my art.

About Needle Felting
Needle felting is the art of using a barbed needle to create three-dimensional felt objects. Traditional felting uses heat, moisture, and agitation to cause the scales on the wool fiber to cling together, or felt. In needle felting, the barb on the needle achieves the same outcome. To create the body, I start with the basic shape and repeatedly insert the needle into the wool fibers. The more times you insert the needle, the tighter and firmer the felt becomes. Once I have my basic shape, I add wool in small bits and shape it as I go along to create the legs, head, etc. This is a long, painstaking process and can take many hours to many days to finish one piece. The smaller the project, the more difficult it is to get detail. Each creation comes alive in my hands and I feel a piece of myself becomes a part of them.
