My family, my life. Two girls, one boy, and the most supportive husband. I couldn't do any of this without them!
After having kids, I wanted to do something I enjoyed while being able to connect with people.
I grew up on a small farm in rural Manitoba, Canada. Although I loved the fresh air, the endless miles of space, and the privacy, I spent a few years traveling the globe in my early 20s and fell in love with the people and culture in Asia, Australia and Europe. I ended up settling down near the same town I was raised in and married the man of my dreams. We started a family and then in 2011 I started making jewelry and have loved every part of it! Not only do I enjoy working with my hands by creating, often inspired by the places I've visited, but I also love the photography, the paperwork (I'm not even joking!), and most of all, connecting with my customers. My husband and kids are my cheerleaders, and they love to help me with prepping packaging while listening to audiobooks over cups of tea.
Throughout my years on Etsy, I have been so blown away by the kindness of each person who has bought something from me - Etsy shoppers are the best!

All USA and International orders may be subject to duty or other fees, and are the buyer's responsibility. I always declare the full value of the order being shipped, because it's the right thing to do :) I do not add a receipt in any orders.
General delivery times for standard shipping are as follows (after 1-3 business days for making your jewelry, and not including delays caused by the pandemic):
Manitoba - 2-4 business days
Canada - 3-12 business days
USA - 1-3 weeks
International - 2-10 weeks (orders to Asia and the Middle East can take several weeks longer)

***Care for your Jewelry***
As most of my jewelry contains sterling silver, 14k gold-filled or base metal findings, it is best to store jewelry in airtight containers to prevent oxidization. Avoid getting jewelry wet, as it can tarnish metals or cause dyed stones to discolor. Avoid spraying perfumes on jewelry, as it can damage the stone or metal finish. Clean stones with a soft dry cloth. You can expect antiqued and plated metal chains and findings to obtain a patina over time and use - this is normal, and I believe adds character! And a little nugget of wisdom with jewelry.... Last thing on, first thing off!
***How to clean raw brass:***
Just squeeze the juice of a lemon onto the brass, rub clean with a soft cloth, rinse, and dry thoroughly. You can also use a fine steel wool to clean, but be careful not to touch any other connecting parts (ear wires, resin, etc.) or they could get damaged. To keep brass from oxidizing, you can take the tiniest amount of olive oil and rub gently over the brass. Voila! Bright as new!

How do I care for my jewelry?
A good rule of thumb for jewelry is “last on, first off”. Avoid contact with humidity, lotions, sunscreen, and beauty products as they can be harsh on metals. Polish jewelry with a soft microfibre cloth and store in its original packaging (air-tight bag) to keep it looking its best.
Raw brass filigrees and pendants can be polished to a bright shine by cleaning with lemon juice, a quick rinse and thorough drying with a soft cloth. Just make sure to avoid getting lemon juice on parts other than the raw brass!
Sizing details
I have all measurements stated on each listing. When ordering a necklace, you can use a long string to determine where you'd like the chain to sit around your neck, then measure the string at that point to find the length.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each order is packaged in a gorgeous sturdy envelope that is decorated with my logo's design. It is beautiful enough to gift as is! I do not include receipts in any orders unless requested. You can see a photo of the regular packaging and the gift wrap packaging in my shop banner.
If you would like a special gift wrap, I will package the jewelry in a smaller sturdy envelope with gift wrap and a bow. If you are ordering gift wrap but want to inspect the jewelry yourself before gifting, please let me know so I can leave the gift wrap partially open for easy removal.

Will my order have a tracking number?
Canadian orders do NOT come with tracking, but expedited tracked shipping can be purchased at checkout.
USA orders will be shipped through Chit Chats using USPS, and will come with a tracking number. Expedited shipping through Canada Post can also be purchased for a slightly quicker option. I will ship your order to Chit Chats using a courier, so it will take up to one week for your tracking number to show movement. Please be patient and check back for tracking updates, which will be updated once passed off to USPS :)
International orders will be shipped through Chit Chats using Asendia, and will come with tracking. There is a flat fee for all international shipping.
Do you do custom work?
If you see certain pieces in my shop that you'd like switched around, or mixed and matched with other items, or if you'd like your birthstone incorporated into a piece of jewelry, please let me know and I'll do what I can to create something perfect for you!
I am not doing any custom filigree designs or custom resin pieces at this time. If I offer this in the future, I will let you know!
What is 14k gold-fill? How is it different from gold plating?
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold, pressure bonded to another metal. The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5 to 10 times thicker than that produced by regular gold plating, and 15 to 25 times thicker than that produced by gold electroplate. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant, lasting up to 10-30 years, and it wears like solid gold. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors, while gold plating wears off when worn or exposed to moisture or chemicals. Anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry.
