Announcement   UPDATE 2/16: I'M MOVING! Sometime in late March/early April, I will be opening up a new shop for my vintage items. While I have not decided yet if my supplies will stay here or not, the jewelry will definitely be joining my grand re-opening at the other store- many at higher prices. In lieu of that, nothing will be renewed; when it expires, that's the end of the line at Sakatagin. Don't worry, you've got a couple of months, but grab them before they disappear!

Also, my shop at http://www.killerkitsune.etsy.com has changed from handmade jewelry to ephemera! My jewelry is now at http://www.fitzysparrow.etsy.com Please stop by both shops!

A disclaimer about the photos of my merchandise: My photos aren't the best, I know. I'm using a 5 year old camera and very limited lighting, so I try to adjust the lighting, color, and detail on my computer. Rhinestones in particular are difficult to capture. If you are unsure about something, PLEASE convo me before buying! I can always take more photos, which will hopefully be more clear for you. Also, please note that your computer screen could also distort the photos. Thank you!

If you have any questions about anything in either of my stores, just convo me!

Please visit my jewelry shop, Fitzy Sparrow, for my little creations: http://www.fitzysparrow.etsy.com

Please visit my ephemera shop for tons of paper goods (coming soon): http://www.killerkitsune.etsy.com

UPDATE 8/23: I know it's been a while since I updated, but I've been keeping busy! My huge project this past month was cleaning out my supply/jewelry room- basically all the vintage stuff that gets sold here and handmade items that gets sold at Fitzy Sparrow-and every little thing got dug through, sorted, and reorganized.

Needless to say, the cleaning uncovered a MASSIVE amount of, well, everything under the sun. I found literally hundreds of lockets, charms, pendants, beads, chains, watch parts, and random bits and pieces. This is, of course, on top of the thousands of buttons, large boxes full of ephemera, and the ever growing collection of marvelous vintage and antique jewelry. To put it simply, even if I listed 50 items a day, I would still be busy 3 months from now.

So....I'm listing as fast as I can!

Payment
Payment is due within one week of purchase unless something has been arranged with me. In rare cases I will take post office money orders, but I usually only take Paypal. Items paid for with an echeck will not be mailed off until the echeck has cleared.
Shipping
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS:

All purchases shipped within the US are mailed via first class, which takes 2 to 5 business days. Delivery confirmation is included in the shipping price. I can always upgrade to priority or express mail and add insurance, but please convo me BEFORE buying the item so that I can make the necessary adjustments.

I ship within three business (Monday through Friday) days of receiving payment. I usually make 3 to 4 trips to the post office a week. If you need your purchase quickly, please convo me and I will try to get it out as soon as possible.

Although I'm a big fan of convo'ing, I typically don't contact customers as to when I mail off their items, but I will happily answer your query if you convo me concerning the shipment date.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

SHIPMENT DELAYS, FEEDBACK, ETC:

THIS IS IMPORTANT! Please don't leave feedback before contacting me. I want my customers to be happy, but I can't do anything if you don't let me know what the problem is.

The optimal time it takes from when you pay for your items to when it reaches your door is one week (5 business days), but I am NOT RESPONSIBLE for the package after it leaves my hands at the post office. It's possible for a purchase made Monday to be received by Thursday, but a more logical estimation is the following Monday. Leaving feedback about your items being 'late' before a week has passed is just unreasonable (unless you specifically convo'd me about mailing it quickly).

If you don't receive your purchase within 2 weeks (10 business days) PLEASE convo me. At that point it is an issue with the post office, which can hopefully be cleared up with your delivery confirmation number.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to describe all of the items I sale as best as I can, but since I am new at dealing with vintage and antique jewelry, I do make a mistake every once in a while.

Refunds are accepted if you are unhappy with your purchase. The buyer has one week from receiving the product to mail it back to me. Also, please convo me as to the return so that I can watch for it. Once I have gotten the item(s) in question, I will send you a full refund, minus return shipping, via Paypal. You WILL NOT get a refund if you decide that it 'isn't worth your time' to mail back my merchandise.
Additional policies and FAQs
RESERVES:

I do reserve items for one week, unless something has been arranged with me. After the 7th day has passed, I will convo you to query if you are still interested. If I haven't heard from you in 2 days, then the item will be unreserved for other people to buy.

CONVOS:

I try to answer convos as fast as possible, usually within 2 days maximum. If you haven't heard from me after 3 days, please convo me again, politely. Every once in a while, I get distracted or forget to reply; I'm not ignoring you!

I'm not sure what it is about the internet, but a few people think it's okay to be a jerk because of supposed anonimity (that may not be spelled right...). When convoing or just communicating in general, I don't appreciate it when someone insults me, threatens me, or is rude in any way. If there is a problem, I see no reason why you can't be civil in explaining the situation. If you see fit to be nasty in a convo, at best you will receive a curt reply from me. So, in conclusion, be nice and I will return the favor!
