Announcement   I'm Melody Marie Murray, and Salamander House is my studio. I work with tiny glass seed beads, primarily in peyote stitch, and every piece I do represents many hours of intense concentration and love. After I begin working my horizon becomes three or four beads wide and I make decisions one bead at a time.

I'm thrilled to be a member of the Bead Art Originals Street Team, a group of both creators of art beads and creators of beadwoven art. To see more of our work, search for the "BAO Team" tag.

Contact me at salamanderhouse [!at] gmail.com if you have any questions. I'll be glad to ship internationally, contact me for pricing.

The beads are even brighter and colorful in person. I love this fun bracelet. Was packaged carefully and shipped quickly.

I'm glad you're here! Most of my items are truly one of a kind. All of them are labor and time intensive little works of art. I'm proud of my craftsmanship and I stand behind everything I make. I want your business, and I want you to be happy.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards

Payment
I take PayPal, check, money order, cash in the mail if you must (but I don't recommend it). No sales tax in the great state of Oregon. Cancel if you have to, stuff happens. I'll cry for an hour or two, but I'll get on with my life after that.
Shipping
I ship using Priority Mail. I know First Class is often cheaper, but in my experience it's less reliable. If you feel strongly about it, and are willing to take the risk, convo me and I'll change your invoice accordingly. Insurance is offered at actual cost- it varies according to the item's value. Again, convo me & we'll get it all set up for you.
Refunds and Exchanges
Everything I make is guaranteed for a year for workmanship & material- but not for accidents or misuse. If you drop a vase from a height, that's very sad but not something I can fix. If you wear a bracelet so hard that the clasp comes loose (unlikely, but possible), I can fix it.
Additional policies and FAQs
Your satisfaction guaranteed. I do my best to completely describe items and to photograph them accurately, but I understand it is difficult to determine a lot about an item that you can't pick up and hold. If you need to return something, please let me know right away. My work is made to last!
