How To Buy Earrings for Your Face Shape

Round
If your face is round, you would do well to avoid large circular earrings, because they will only accentuate this feature. Stay away from hoop earrings for the same reason. To give your face a little more angle, try a long earring with a slight curve or a square or rectangular style.

Oval
An oval face shape is said to be the most ideal because it works with most hairstyles, jewellery and makeup. If you have an oval face, you have a lot of freedom when it comes to choosing earrings. Anything from tiny sparkly studs to spiral dangles will look great on you. The one type you might want to avoid is extremely long earrings that will elongate your face.

Heart
A heart shaped face is characterized by a wide forehead that tapers into a tiny narrow chin. The type of earrings that will work for these people are the exact opposite shape of their face. Look for chandelier or teardrop earrings. Steer clear of heart shapes or triangles with the wide part at the top.

Square
With this face shape you’ll want to avoid anything that adds extra edge to your already angular face. So obviously, square and rectangular shapes are out. Anything with curving lines will help soften your face.

In the beginning, Salsa Gal aka Laurie Nicholson-Filio started making jewellery in the late 1980’s.

I exhibited such places as the Buckhorn Arts and Crafts Festival.

After a long hiatus, which saw many life changes, I am back now and glad to be back producing unique jewellery with stones and beads from around the world.

I have traveled extensively over the years and get my inspiration many places.

I hope you enjoy wearing my fun funky pieces as much as I like making them.

I am a part-time nurse...full time mom...part time jewellery maker..hmmmm what else??

Accepted payment methods

Paypal
Payment
I prefer Paypal. I will take money orders and email transfers as alternate payment methods.
Shipping
According to Canada Post...anything that is NOT paper and is shipped in a bubble pack is a Light Packet.

I try to use small bubble pack envelopes so they will ship at Lettermail rates.

I can put more than one piece in as long as it doesnt become too thick.
Additional policies and FAQs
I DO NOT have handling charges...the shipping you pay covers a bubble pak envelope...tissue for padding and the postage...thats it.....I mean how long does it take to put a necklace in an envelope??
