Salt and Splinter was founded on the idea of making and creating for a living and not punching a clock.
The idea behind Salt and Splinter has been kicking around for a few years. Bill and I have been building and creating furniture for our families because of the passion for the craft and the love of doing something with your own hands. Salt and Splinter started because we like everyone else were stuck inside for quarantine. Worrying about our future and wanting to do something about it we started talking about starting a business. Here we are a few months later launching our first online presence with Etsy and working on new ideas everyday.
