Announcement    Customs and requests are closed till further notice. I'm struggling with having free time to work on anything specific. I'm so sorry =( =( I don't have a time when they will be open again and I'm to "clumsy" to keep a wait list without losing it. haha.

I do have over 1,000 different designs though so take a look, even if you can't find what you wanted you may find something that you never knew you wanted. =D

About

Trying to get out the conventinal heading no wheres job

My story first started when at a loss what to do with my life at the age of 30. I had hit as far as I could progress at the hospital I worked at and the only thing I could really focus on was art. I tried opening up an Etsy site selling hand painted jars (with animals on them) full of bath salts hence my name Salt of the Art) Being very unskilled at the online business world I made zero sales and took this as a personal blow. I decided to force myself to go to college with the hopes of  a degree in micro biology of some sorts. I found out not much has change since school. I was still the person in class who as much as they tried could not focus on what was being said. It was a struggle now as it was then. I finished my semester at Missoula University with no desire to keep going. It wasn't what I wanted to do and forcing myself to do it was not making me any happier. I'll admit that night I made the decision, I came home and had a bit to much to drink and pulled out my old doodles and started getting sad about where I was in life (darn you booze!!!!) and the thought of going back to a job that ill not progress any farther than where I was was unbearable and sad. I found some drawing of people at work that I never finished. Being as bold as I was with liquid courage in me, I brushed off my hardly used wacom digital tablet and jokingly colored them in (they look similar to my avatar on my page) I glued them onto magnets after printing them out and amazingly enough I was excited to go to work they next day to show the owners.
Everyone at work loved them and soon I was encouraged to make everyone. I tried my best to get people at work created into magnets but eventually I was being asked to make their pets. So I did and then shortly opened up my Etsy site, Salt of the Art, again in November and began selling them. By the end of the year in 2016 I had 200 different animal magnets. Now by the end of 2017 that has grown to over 500 and a constant struggle to find them time to make new ones =D (thats good!!!)

Care instructions

The high gloss coated can be wiped off with a damp towel. The side are not sealed and with enough water exposure can discolor the image under the gloss. I would not recommend showering with earrings on or submerging products.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Magnets, badge reels and earrings will be taped or mounted on a decorative piece of cardstock and placed within a clear plastic bag.

Coffee mugs and vinyl stickers are shipped within cardboard and bubble wrap.

My packages are bulky after securing for shipment. They will not fit through a mail slot. If this is the only means of getting your package, please contact me to work out a way to make it fit. Packages returned to me for not fitting in the slot will be refunded minus shipping. =D

Gift wrapping and packaging

All my orders are on cute cardstock, inside a plastic baggie, wrapped in bubble wrap then wrapped in white paper.

Do you do donations to charities?

Ahhhh sadly not in the online world. =(

Will you ship international?

Yes! Please contact me through message. I will create a custom listing for you containing the total price for all the items you want. Pleaseeeeeeeee be aware you have to pay for your own Vats and Custom fees. I can provide a link to calculate the extra cost.
