Best chopsticks I've ever had/used. I bought two sets of them for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day...they turned out to be just as much a gift for me as they were for him. Would definitely buy more sets in the future!

So pretty! The painted detail added just the right touch of individualization I was looking for.

Perfect! Just right for this family of six. Sturdy, yet elegant. Shipped in time for Christmas 😀

About

Saltwood Studio

Saltwood Studio is the one-man design and woodworking shop of Jay Huckins located on the Maine coast.

My design style is firmly rooted in the blending of the clean, elegant, timeless aesthetic and casual cosmopolitanism of my native New England and the celebration of material selection and the construction process.

All items are packed as carefully as possible with materials you can either reuse or recycle (no foam peanuts - I can't stand 'em) - see refund policies for information on items damaged in shipping.

Import duties, taxes, etc. are not included in the item price or shipping charges. The buyer is responsible for these costs. Before placing an order, please verify these and any additional charges with your country's customs authorities.

Shipping times for international orders vary widely.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I will gladly offer a refund (less shipping) or exchange within two weeks of receipt. Customers are responsible for return shipping. Please note, I am unable to give refunds for custom orders.

If an item arrives damaged, let me know, and I will offer a replacement or exchange. Please retain the items in question along with all packing materials until we discuss the issue so that I can file any appropriate insurance claims.

Additional policies and FAQs
Unless otherwise noted, all items are built and shipped after the order is completed. Listings are representative - the actual items may vary in wood grain and paint distressing pattern from those shown.

A Note About Wood:
For custom orders I have ready access to many domestic hardwoods (oak, maple, walnut, beech, cherry, among others). For reasons of sustainability, I prefer to use domestic woods, but I do occasionally come across exotic remnants - feel free to contact me with specific species or size requests, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
